Outstanding hotel! Just a short walk from the station and just one minute (by foot) from the beach, the location is wonderful. It's also a lovely 15-minute walk to the historical old town and ferry port. The interior is spotless with airy colours of light...More

Stayed here two nights. We arrived by train so it was nice to have the hotel just a brief walk from the station. (Save your energy for the famous walking trails.) The town of Monterosso is not that big so don't be put off or...More

We stayed in this hotel in September 2011 and had a great time. It is located just a couple blocks away from the beach. Not a fancy hotel/room, but it has everything you need and the room sizes are pretty good. Monterosso is beautiful and...More

Loved this place. It's in the new part of town. The old part is "party town" at night, with lots of young people. The new part is where the adults hang out (much quieter, pleasant). The hotel is not right on the beach, but close...More

Cinque Terre has 5 villages. In my opinion Monterosso and Vernazza are the best in terms of number of restaurants and shops. Monterosso has an "old town" to the east and a "new town" to the west all within 10 minutes walking distance. Tourists are...More

I don't believe any of the rooms have a sea view, as the hotel is about 2 blocks in from the beach. We were on the 1st floor, so I don't know if there was an elevator. Sorry.

I'm sorry, I have been there many times but not past October. A lot of shops and restaurants may be closed and if there is rain they also close the hiking trails for safety reasons. I would recommend trying for October.

No ocean view, Even though you are only 200 metres from the ocean. The ocean is south of the hotel and the balconies face east and west. Don't let this stop you though, a very good hotel for the price. I think if you want a... More
