Kind and friendly staff, good breakfast included with home-made pastries and best hotel coffee I had in Italy (ask for a fresh pot, not the Nescafe machine they have out), free bike rentals. Close and within walking distance to the train station. The best part was probably my balcony with a view of the mountains and ocean nearby. Since I...

Stayed in Cinque Terre for 3 nights after driving down from Milan Linate airport. Hotel is a great base to travel through the 5 towns. We travelled by train to Pisa too given the trails were closed on one of the days we were there. Travelling by train to Pisa is relatively easy, and thanks to the girl on reception...

Heeding advice, visited in off season and am glad I did. Great value and beautiful, quiet hotel, not far from train station (but do yourself a favor, and take a taxi here, much uphill and steps with luggage). They close on October 29 for season until April. Very comfortable single room with balcony and view, delicious food in restaurant. Did...

Had no problems with Villa Adriana. For a 3 star hotel as it apparently is I thought it was great. Probably better than some 4 stars I've stayed at. We only stayed a couple of nights and the rooms in the back building, not sure if they're the same as the ones in the front. Room was kept clean, second...

Stayed just 1 night . Cost 220 euros for the attic room which is really 2 bedrooms that can occupy maximum 4 person sharing 1 bathroom . Breakfast spread is reasonably good. Checking in is good, we came early and was happy that we are allowed to check in early when the room is ready especially after a 3 hour...

-- very small room -- no shade -- a filmy white curtain covers window, does not shut out light. -- virtually no shelf room over sink. -- Staff member showed us to our room, but never offered to help with heavy bags. -- Two beds and only three pillows.Obtaining an additional one required a call. -- No consideration of sound...

My husband and I stayed here for three nights. We arrived at around 4 o'clock on a Friday, check in was quick. The room had a great balcony and a view of the sea looking towards the old part of Monterosso. The room was spotless. The bed was very comfortable. Nice large room with plenty of closet space/storage. Closet has...

Expensive for how basic the rooms and amenities offered are. We booked a room because all other hotels were full. When checking in we told them that we were interested in staying 2 nights. I guess they forgot because at noon the next day there was a knock on the door and 3 angry cleaning staff literally screaming in my...

The location was perfect coming out of the train station. It's on a bit of a hill once you get there, but otherwise an easy walk and easy to find. Pros: Out of all of the B&B's we stayed at during our Italy trip this by far had the most amenities and service. The room was big, the bathroom was...

We loved having a small patio to dry the swimming suits on. The room is big enough and clean. The breakfast was lovely and they had soya milk, not always a standard in hotels. The staff is friendly and helpful. The grounds and garden are well kept with lovely plants.
