Stayed 3 nights. Good central location, well renovated & comfortable rooms. A little noisy but that's the trade off with being som central. Complimentary auto coffee machine downstairs a bonus as good coffee is rare. Easy access to restaurants, stores and riomaggiore station.

Great location, in the main street. Very good room, clean and nice services (frigo, safe, AC....). Very stylish with stones and wood inside, loved it! Only drawback: it's on the street so you have the noise of people for the full night. I love to sleep with open windows, might it's better if you close it.

L'Ancora was a perfect home base for us in the Cinque Terre! I mention value as its strength, but don't mistake that for economy quality. While it is impossible to get a Four Seasons type of accommodation in the Cinque Terre, L'Ancora is actually a fine property in a place that is very hard to find a good value combined...

The actual room and reception is quite a distance. The staff at reception is not so friendly (with grim face). I requested for the top floor room which have access to rooftop terrace (the one and only room). The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. There is small kitchen for light cooking. Bathroom is clean and decent. There is free...

Looks better on site than it is, its clean and comfy but it is small and outside is Very noisey, from 5am you will not sleep due to traffic noise and the church bells are ..... LOUD. Having previously stayed in Corniglia this was dissapointing, if this was our 1st visit to Cinque Terre it would have got a quaint...

Newly refinished studio with rooftop terrace and kitchenette. Spa-like bathroom with radiant heat floors (we think) and towel warmer (we know for sure). Beautiful wood floors and lovely craftsmanship throughout. Access to coffee and free wifi (in the first floor kitchen) throughout the day. And for us a bonus: Internet port in our bedroom (we borrowed a cable from the...

L'Ancora was a pleasant surprise, with a more contemporary feel than we expected, while maintaining an old world charm. The bathrooms were large and well-appointed, and the entire facility was eco-friendly. Your card key had to be in it's "slot" inside the door once your were in the room in order for the lights to come on, and the door...

We had a 4th level floor without an elevator but with a terrace seaside view for three people. We had no idea what to expect when we got to Riommagoire but the hotel was not far from the train station. It was definitely a trek to our place, but well worth the view and seclusion from the main street. If...
