Vernazza is one of the best villages in Cinque Terre we stayed here during July however our stay in the Lulu rooms was disappointing. The room was up several flights of very steep stairs and the lack of a fan or air conditioner made it very difficult to sleep considering how hot it is in Italy during July. Though the...

Not what was expected from advertising. "Ensuite" was a bathroom not attached to room and was shared by at least three other rooms. Shower was not in working order first day. "Apartment" was a single room with 3 beds and a wardrobe. Overpriced. Was clean. Very noisy - we were out all day so this wasn't too much of a...

Lots of bad reviews here, but my girlfriend and friend and I had a great experience with Lulu Rooms at the beginning of October 2013. The owner met us at the train station and showed us to our third floor room with a balcony looking out on the street and train station. The room was clean, the bed comfy, and...

4 friends and I booked an apartment with Lulu rooms, to stay during peak season in August. Due to their lack of an online reservation system or any digital confirmation of our stay I emailed a week in advance to confirm. Yes, our apartment was booked, they assured. Two days before our arrival date I emailed again to ask where...

At 111 euro for one night we expected a little luxury but the room was really not great. It was very pretty but the bed broke a little when we sat on it and we were told we would be sharing a bathroom with one other room but it was really two or three judging by all the people coming...

After reading other reviews the night before we arrived we were expecting the worst. We were met at the station and taken to our 2 rooms. The rooms were clean and good value for what we paid. They were random individual rooms around the wee village with no common areas etc so if you are looking for a social place...

What a shock we received when we arrived at the Lulu Rooms apartment. It was nothing like the photos shown on Expedia.com – it was not a hotel nor even a rundown hostel it was worse. We should have realized that we were being conned when we arrived at the station to be meet by “Lulu” who insisted that we...

Please do not ignore this review or any of the other bad ones. We decided to give this place a chance regardless of the bad reviews but boy was that a mistake. We were taken to our room and met at the train station which was nice and in about 15 minutes we had gotten settled, unpacked, handed over our...

Let me begin by saying, that this was by far the worst and scariest experience I have had in any accommodation. I have stayed at campsites, b&b's, hostels, apartments and hotels but nothing has been as disturbing As this one. I request you to read through this long review because I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what me...

Landlord greeted us the moment we reached Vernazza by train. He helped us carry our heavy luggages up the very steep steps to the apartment. The rooms were in the centre of the town. Abit too nosiy as you can hear the train passing by from dawn to midnight but it's easy to get used to. The food stall directly...
