We loved Il Borgo di Genova, such a lovely place and very central! Contact beforehand with Alessandra who was always prompt and helpful with her emails, whenever I contacted her. So helpful in selecting the right room for our needs for our stay. The B&B is in a lovely authentic street, very safe and secure and central. Of course, as...

We found this to be a wonderful hotel run by Alessandra and Giovanni a lovely couple. It was a town house with a lot of stairs but they were so helpful with luggage it didn;t matter, The rooms were beautifully decorated and very large and comfortable. The daily breakfast which was included was plentiful and delicious. It was only a...

Thanks to great tips from the hosts Giovanni and Alessandra we had a wonderful time in Genoa and the area. They recomended local food and specific restaurants to try out and also gave us tips what villages to see. The place itself is very cosy and cute. Lovely renovated townhouse. We stayed here 3 nights in early October. Our experience was wonderful and echoes all other rave reviews of Il Borgo di Genova. The location is very convenient, being steps away from the Genova Brignole train station, to explore nearby areas of the Ligurian coast. Also, it is very convenient and walking distance from all the major Genova attractions and...

Alessandra & Giovanni are the perfect hosts for a B&B. The operation is VERY well thought out and carefully run. The B&B is excellently located for enjoying Genova by foot, and for enjoying the countryside by train or bus. Your visit starts even before you arrive when your hosts send you the best, most detailed set of directions I've ever...

The building is located just behind the Brignole Train Station. At the station, you can board the tour bus, so walking is close. There are places to eat in the area. It is a short walk to the center of the city. Giovani & Alessandra are warm, informative and helpful. The room is clean and comfortable. There is a safe...

Can only echo what others have already said. A really good location by Brignole station got us off to a good start. Also very convenient for sites and restaurants. Alessandra & Giovanni were great and attentive hosts. We followed Giovanni's top tips for Genova (he spent ages chatting to us in good English) which were certainly worthwhile. Our room was...

A very cosy B&B in the centre of Genoa, very close to the railway station of G.Brignole. The hosts Alessandra and Gianni are very friendly and helpful people, always there for you if you need anything from info and tips concerning the city and the region to the temperature in your room;). The breakfasts are typical Italian - sweet and...

I have stayed quite often in hotels and B&Bs, but I will always remember this one. The decor is just wonderful, simple with an Italian touch. But what stands out the most are the owners - Alessandra and Giovanni. I travel alone mostly and immediately I felt at home and relaxed in their residence. It can be hard to travel...

Great location, quiet and cool room, good shower pressure, and comfy bed. The owners are very friendly and speak good English, and there is free parking available nearby. You can easily reach the city centre via metro from here as well.
