100% place to stay in Genoa: - Great location - City Centre (Piazza Ferrari, Via Garibaldi, Via XX Settembre, Porto Antico, Via Balbi) - Reasonable prices for nice, cosy rooms with individual bathroom and breakfast delivered to the room in the morning! I still can't believe it's only 1 star indicated, it definitely deserves more! Anyway a great place, simple,... More

It is a Small but lovely hotel at the central place in Genua. The Owner is one of the nicest people i ever met. The room is Small but very Clean. The service is perfect. Breakfast is also very good. You have to go there. I will go there again.

The Albergo is very well located at reasonable distances from the main attractions, old building with old furnitures, beds are in bad shape but the administration is very friendly and supportive. European style breakfast at your room, bathroom narrow and poor maintenanced. Once time experience.

This is not a hotel, we got a tiny room on the 6th floor. The reception is on the 6th floor, its old and rundown. The ground floor had cigarette butts everywhere and some type of tablets on the floor, and a used nappy on the stairs. Plastic sheets taped to the floor, looked very unclean.. It does have a... The hotel is very conveniently located- it's very close to all city attractions and it's not too far from the railway station. It is run by very friendly people. Our bed was huge and really comfortable. I enjoyed a lot the air conditioning which in March served as heating so it was very cosy at night. The breakfast is delivered... More

The staff at Hotel Caffaro is really friendly. The hotel really looks like a house, such it is small, but the owner was really nice and kind to us. It made us feel like he was hosting us in his house. The location of the hotel is very good, close the city elevetors to the downtown area and very convenient... More

Lovely welcome from the friendly staff on reception who even upgraded us at no expense. The room was lovely, great views and close proximity to the centre of the city. There is a secure underground car park. Breakfast was plentiful with great choice. Highly recommended and we hope to visit again soon

Together with my husband we spend a few nights in this hotel and we really enjoyed it. The stuff is very friendly. The location is perfect for exploring the beautiful old city center, for shopping and having fun at night. The breakfast is much better and more than you would expect in Italy (bread rolls, jam, muffins, yoghurt, juice and... More

Giovanni at B&B Opera (which is excellent ) had no room for me for my first two nights. So he made arrangements for me to stay here. It is more expensive and far less value than B&B Opera. The room is ultra tiny. Very spartan no pictures. The liquid soap container is attached to the wall next to the sink... More

“If you want an amazing breakfast experience "wake up " go to the market , take an alfresco table and soak up the atmosphere.Don`t expect a Michelin starred breakfast buffet to what equates to a budget of 4 euros!!! The lavazza coffee should be considered a treat considering what you are paying per night!!”
