We spent two nights at this hotel, perched atop a hill with glorious views. The hotel is very elegantly decorated and has a very old world charm. Our room was stunning, as were the views. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful to walk around, especially the walk to and from the pool and beach. The breakfast venue, sitting on a...

Great view, great breakfast, nice view. Best of all the service and attitude of the employees. Good service, Good accommodations make a great place to stay. The town center is nice stroll away and the town's atmosphere is fantastic. Go there and visit the hotel's beach where Andrea the lifehuard takes care of all your needs. Will be back.

The hotel stands out on the hill with it's size and beautiful look. The good: The private pool / sea area was a bonus. The outside setting for breakfast on the balcony was very nice. The sea view from our room was picture perfect. The location is great as it's close to walk to the main town and the train/bus...

Hotel is very nice, good breakfast, great service. The greatest drawback with staying in this hotel is walking up to the hotel from the street. If you do not have a car,you had better be in good shape as the biggest problem is the walk. Also, hotel is listed as a 5 star which I think is really a 4 star. Depending on...

We thought this was a fantastic hotel all round. The location is great, with a view over the ocean, and over the town as it is set on a hill above a lovely area of gardens leading down towards the sea, where they have a great swimming pool and bar/restaurant. Our room was only a small sea-view but its quality...

What a wonderful hotel! Such elegant old world charm! Breakfast and dinner on the main balcony with views of the sea… almost a fairytale like experience. With regard to food, I can only compliment them. Excellent breakfast buffet (selection of breads, cold cuts, cheeses, cereals, sweet spreads, viennoiseries, cakes and pies, fresh fruit slices, eggs made to order, other hot...

We really enjoyed this hotel and its location though the first room we had faced a stone wall which was not so good. I suggest you ask for a high floor as at these prices I would expect to get some kind of view. The rooms themselves are large and very comfortable, very clean and well kept. The bathrooms whilst...

I loved this hotel. We got an excellent rate. Incredible breakfast. I wish we would have stay longer. The food in santa margherita was amazing. The location of the hotel was extremely nice. Polite and nice staff. We went in high season so if you want to have dinner in any place you need a booking.

Great Hotel. Very well managed. Special thanks to Mr. Mauro, Manager and Mr. Luca, Concierge. They are an asset for this Hotel. As per Hotel, quite and cozy, close to Portofino, trip to Genoa or Milano, easy...but bit pricey...

First time in Santa Margherita and originally booked another hotel but was convinced to stay here. Lovely looking place with pretty gardens. The room had a wonderful view of the sea but that road - the traffic never ceased and was so noisy. Also had real problems with noise from neighbouring rooms. I could hear ALL bathroom noises and not...
