Lovely home with rooms for rent. Just enough privacy, just enough contact with owner for local information. Near walls of central medieval town, great area for walking and shopping. Breakfast was delicious!

The street it is on , I would say is almost dangerous- very narrow and cars going too fast and very close to one. The area around the street, however, is very nice - gorgeous park .. The B&B very dark when one enters and leaves the house and we could barely see the lock on the door. The towels...

Our hostess Ada could not have been more welcoming. On arrival we were shown where to park in the secure garage and then shown to our room. Airy and spacious with a ceiling fan, which was absolutely invaluable, and an ensuite bathroom with constant hot and cold water. The bed in our room had a firm mattress which I thought...

We have just returned from a 3 night stay in Bergamo. Agli Orti is centrally located located and very close to Citta Alta's bus stop with easy access to Bergamo's train station and airport. Yellow buses 1 and 1A stop there. Rooms in this pleasant B&B are very clean and we had a spacious apartment on the first floor with...

We stayed just for 1 night just to experience the Citta' Alta. The place has got a very good position, with a private garden, and is served by public transport to/from Bergamo's airport with bus-stop located at just 2 minutes walking. Traffic on the road (just out the window) is noisy, but we didn't hear it so much. The place...

We have been obliged to move ourselves our luggages on another B&B on the last night, on the other side of the street, because someone else needed our room. No refund for that. Rooms are on the ground floor, directly on the road, we could hear the conversations of the people passing by...

The rooms were great, the garden and terrace lovely, the breakfast superb, the landlady welcoming, intelligent, interesting (what more could one want) I am really shocked by the negative comments from Lancashire. There must be a mistake. I recommend it wholeheartedly AND i have absolutely no vested interest and this is not a fake review Margaret Cook Penzance Cornwall

I stayed at Agli Orti with my 14 year old son during the Easter holidays, sharing a room with a comfortable futon for me and one on a mezzanine for him. The B&B's location was perfect for sightseeing on foot around the Cita Alta, and the rest of Bergamo. The garden with deck chairs and wonderful view over the lower...

A comfortable, homey and atmospheric 16th century house in the old city. An easy walk to all restaurants and shops and the funicular that takes you even higher up the town. Ada, the owner is very welcoming. There's a wonderful garden and a grand piano if you play! I did. It's not a Holiday Inn but I wouldn't want it...
