This hotel has rooms with or without bathrooms, so when you book, make sure what you are getting, otherwise you may end up sharing with 4 other rooms. The room we had was clean, but dark ,as the lighting is not the best. They suggested a couple of places to eat-one was Al Lancore, (go straight out the door, up...

Worst hotel experience ever. Don´t book this hotel on the internet because they put you in the basement and say that it is impossible to change or cancel a reservation. Our room had a view to a brick wall, when you opened the window people could walk into the room and it was so hot that we couldn’t enter it...

The jolly boys were meeting up from Glasgow and Manchester for a wander in the hills around Lake Garda. A one night stay in the Hotel San Giorgio was fine. A helpful welcome at 11pm, 2 decent basic rooms and a helpful checkout in the morning. If you need an easy option for a quick stopover in Bergamo, this should...

The bathroom small and the shower even smaller but everything worked without problems. If you are going for a romantic night away, not the best choice...

I stayed in Hotel San Giorgio several times, always with some uneasiness, until I decided never to stay there again when they antagonized me definitively by canceling my booking two hours after the scheduled time of my arrival. I used to stay in this hotel because of its convenient location near the train station and not far from the airport,...

This is a good hotel if you don't have high expectations. The rooms are very simple and a bit run down, but the place is clean. Nothing to write home about, but the price is right.

Four of us stopped at Hotel San Giorgio for a night en route to the Orobie Alps. In terms of location, it's ideal if you're just passing through, as it's just a short walk from the train and bus stations and from the bus to / from the Airport. If you're visiting Bergamo specifically then it's some distance from the...
