I recently enjoyed 4 nights with my husband at this perfectly located hotel in Bellagio. The breakfast included was substantial with fresh pots of tea and coffee available. No machines. Our room was delightfully decorated and with a view from the window across the lake...More
Booked a suite, view of the lake, fantastic.
Just back from 10 days walking the Via Alta 1 in the Dolomites so filthy and exhausted
Comfortable, homely, great staff, great breakfasts and very reasonable cost

Hotel Florence was perfect for us, bedroom was tasteful and comfortable.. super big bathroom. The Staff were very caring and helpful. Breakfasts had a good assortment of food on offer and were available till 10am. Altogether a lovely relaxing break.

Both are quite different. Bellagio is about an hour on a very windy road (although you might be better off to catch the ferry). Cernobbio (we have stayed there too) is probably better described as part of greater Como. When we stayed there we caught the ferry to Como and walked back to our hotel there (Regina St Olga). Bellagio has a certain charm that Cernobbio doesn't have. I've probably confused you - sorry. Stay at both!!!
