We had a wonderful 3 night stay at this charming hotel. The location on Lake Como was perfect, the breakfast room and buffet were a nice start to each day. Paola at the front desk was friendly and helpful. In the evenings, Timothy was at...More
We stayed one night at Hotel Florence. It is a great hotel in the perfect location.
I had thought about spending a lot of money to stay in the famed hotel right next door called The Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni. It does have an amazing...More
This hotel is perfectly situated in Bellagio on the lake. Unfortunately, we didn't get a room with a view but the room we had was beautifully decorated and spacious. The bathroom was slightly strange as there was no shower, just a bath. Normally I wouldn't...More
As you would expect, Bellagio on Lake Como with its lakeside piazza, ferry terminals and narrow streets is a busy, busy tourist centre. And, as you would also expect, there are dozens of cafes and restaurants by and behind the lakeside. If you want Michelin...More
We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights for our friends wedding.

Both are quite different. Bellagio is about an hour on a very windy road (although you might be better off to catch the ferry). Cernobbio (we have stayed there too) is probably better described as part of greater Como. When we stayed there we caught the ferry to Como and walked back to our hotel there (Regina St Olga). Bellagio has a certain charm that Cernobbio doesn't have. I've probably confused you - sorry. Stay at both!!!

Yes, there is free parking near the Hotel Floerence but it is very limited and fills up very quickly. I 've waited a day for one to appear and then left the car there for three days. There are about 12 places within 150 yards. Chris at the desk can inform you about a parking lot a half hours walk from the hotel. The walk is a great way to get exercise and become more familiar with Bellagio.
