This is just such a beautiful family run hotel. All the staff are wonderful. Carlo, his wife and son, daughter, Miriam, go out of their way to ensure you have the perfect stay but all the staff are really polite and helpful. The location is stunning. Close to the sirmione ferry. Easy to walk to restaurants and bars. Bed really comfortable. Room immaculately clean. And breakfast, homemade cake every morning! You just cannot fault this hotel. It is a really special place.

The Visani Family, who own and operate Hotel Marconi welcomed us as part of their family throughout our entire stay. Allesandra & Carlo greeted us with hugs, remembered us from our prior stay, and saved our favorite table on their private terrace for a wonderful sunset dinner. We stayed at Hotel Marconi for one night, loved our experience, and then headed up the lake to Riva Del Garda, where we found a very different vibe, to the point that we lost thousands of dollars on our hotel, so we decided to go back to see the Visani Family for another night. We truly were welcomed as part of their family! The food is all home made, breakfast and dinner, they are more than happy to serve you drinks all day on the terrace, just again, a magical experience, and the cherry on top of it all is their antique piano that my partner played on multiple nights for the guests & staff. So special, so warm, so welcoming, and after 4 weeks in Italy, Hotel Marconi was our favorite place, by far. Highly Recommend, many thanks to the Visani Family!

My daughter had recommended this hotel to me and I am so glad that she did! This is a gem of a hotel which is run by a very kind and charming family. We had a room in the annex with a view of Lake Garda from our balcony overlooking the gravelled courtyard and parking area. The room had a very comfortable king size bed and everything was immaculately clean and bright. Hotel Marconi is extremely convenient to the ferries, the shops, and the other sights of Sirimione, yet retains considerable privacy from the the streets and the crowds. The breakfasts are amazing and the dining areas overlook Lake Garda. The spacious private terrace, where you can also dine, is a fantastic place to eat, have cocktails, sunbathe, and swim off the dock. It faces southwest. We hadn’t realised that the Hotel offered evening meals too when we booked to stay and greatly enjoyed eating dinner each night on the terrace in the evenings watching the sunset.

In a word; Superb. I cannot fault anything with our stay, but the two things that stand out about Hotel Marconi are the exceptional staff and the food, which was the best we had in Lake Garda. The dinner menu changes daily, so there was always something new to try, and there is always an amazing selection of cakes and pastries with breakfast. My partner is gluten-free, and the staff took extra care to explain the menu and provide options for her at dinner and breakfast. The staff's attention to detail and kindness contributed to a fantastic holiday. The hotel also has a beautiful terrace area that is perfect for relaxing with a drink or swimming in the lake. Parking is also available if needed. We will certainly be planning to return. Thank you Hotel Marconi!

Perfection! This family run hotel is second to none. We were greeted with a smile and shown to our room. The room was spacious with a lovely view of the lake from our balcony. All staff were helpful and welcoming. The owner an enigmatic character who took special care to ensure we were looked after! I don’t often write a review, but feel compelled as it was such a special place… it really did make our stay.

We first stayed at the Hotel Marconi in 2017, and wanted to return ever since. October 2022 presented the opportunity and we were just as thrilled with our stay. The hotel is charming and the owners, Carlo and his wife Alessandra, are welcoming and make you feel at home. The hotel is situated on the water, and the back patio/deck is perfect for having drinks, eating breakfast or dinner, or just reading a book. The rooms are very clean, bright and a decent size. We ate dinner a few times during our five night stay and the meals were truly outstanding. If lasagna is on the menu, order it! My Italian grandmother would have been impressed. The breakfast offers a wealth of selections and is one of the best we have had when traveling. If you have the opportunity to travel to Lake Garda, stay in the town of Sirmione, at the Hotel Marconi. The owners, and their amazing staff, will create a memorable stay for you. You will not be disappointed.

This hotel is officially rated ***. Yet it is the living evidence that, when the basics are right, you may have a wonderful stay, regardless. Superb staff, the place is as clean as you can wish, the baking - very important for any Italian breakfast - is all homemade. We had dinner once: the menu is restricted but the food is as good and locally sourced as you can wish. If you have a special need, ask and they will fulfill it with a smile. I also admired something else: the furniture is dated, possibly '70ies or even' 60ies? but is substantial and in good condition. To me it means that they haven't spent money chasing the trendy colour or style. They just do their thing, day after day, avoiding to throw away stuff that has still plenty of life ahead, sparing the money for the fashionable interior design and put it fully on substantial things. That also means that the place has a charming, old fashioned look that makes you feel like you are at your auntie's. And we all know that she never bins anything that is still fit for use. If you, like me, doubt that these places still exist, spend a few days there and see it with your own eyes. Thank you, grazie famiglia Visani and all the smiling staff.

This is an amazing small Family run Hotel. Great friendly service and located in the old part of the town within a few minutes of the ferry dock, so getting around this huge lake is very easy. We booked the evening meals here as well, choose from a menu at breakfast if you require that option. All meals, including breakfast were excellent. We have stayed here many times, always a lovely break. Only 30 minutes in a taxi from Verona Airport, so very easy to get to.
