I've stayed here on many occasions and the location and value for money is excellent. It is not grand but it doesn't need to be. It's clean and the lake views are fantastic, with easy access to the excellent restaurants on the nearby islands.

Stayed for two nights. Our family room was in the building next door. Nice, clean, comfortable room and plenty of storage space. Small balcony for two people but with spectacular lakeside views. Bathroom was sparkling but could have done with a few extra toiletries for a family of four. The towels did smell a little after one use, not sure...

The view is nice. Sitting on my porch-like balcony in the evening, we can see clear across the lake and can enjoy the lights there. Crickets chirp, there's a terrace where we can sit. Not half bad. So why the low grade, we can hear you think. Here's a summary. Between the hotel and the water is a dangerous, busy...

Old charming villa with garden in front of the lake with superb view on the islands. Hotel is well cared, rooms are simple but nothing is missing. Personnel gave us warm welcome. Breakfast is good and it takes into charming room with antiquities. Parking is big and into reserved area. Location is in the middle of Stresa and Baveno without...

Wonderful landscape alongside Lago Maggiore, wonderful house, wonderful people. We had a lovely 4-bed room. A lovely classic-style garden, with trees, statues and a creek (ruscello) who gives the name of the hotel. It is a family business: gentle people, classy traditional breakfast. Large parking in front of the hotel, over the road.

This family run Hotel is well located at the lakeside, comprises two buildings; the main building contains the reception and dining room, while the second one (the annex) contains the guest rooms and surrounding by a lovely small garden. The hotel has a big and secured parking space directly on the lakeside, where the road passes between it and the...

A strategically placed stopover whilst travelling up from Tuscany. This hotel was chosen for its perfect location and good value. It did not disappoint at all. Situated just outside of Baveno with ample parking. A short drive away from the hustle and bustle and steep hotel prices of Stresa. A fine example of a family run Italian hotel. We had...

We booked a triple room which ended up being a two room suite with a bathroom; lots of room. The lake is across the road and so beautiful. There is secure parking. The hotel is perfectly situated for visits around the lake and to take the tour into Switzerland. We were grateful for the air conditioning in our room. Breakfast...

This was our 3rd stop on a 4 city your of Italy with family. The hotel met our needs perfectly. Low price and reasonable accommodations. The rooms are decent size for European standards with small balconies to enjoy the lake view. Breakfast was good for the price and all the coffee was freshly made. There is plenty of outside common...
