We booked this hotel because it was highly recommended by our travel agency. Although, it was a pitty we have forgotten to read tripadvisor's reviews. If you lost sometime reading the reviews about this hotel you easily will came to a conclusion : the hotel (as a building) is beautiful , the facade is absolutely magnificent and also the indoor...

Very elegant hotel. We had an awesome suite with a balcony overlooking the front of the hotel-street-lake. Perfect location for walking in any direction. Staff was accommodating and always willing to assist.

Let's face it, staying here is beyond the budget of many people so we popped in for some light refreshment in the bar. A visit to this famous hotel is an experience in itself; its location, decor and gardens are all spectacular. For anyone interested in the Hemingway connection, it is a 'must-see'. Our sandwiches were served delightfully with refreshing...

I've stayed at the hotel with my wife for the last two days of our amazing trip to Italy where we visited Florence, Siena, and Como before ending in Stresa. Before arrival expectations where nice not expecting something as unique and as Luxurious as the 4 previous nights, but still it was a 5 start Luxury hotel with Spa. Unfortunately...

Even if I disagree with his evaluation, I am grateful that NunoCAbral acknowledged our “good customer service”, in fact, I had the chance to talk to him during his stay, and thus I collected a fist-hand detailed report about his expectations along with an anticipation of this review. While I am sorry that this time we had not been able...

Luxury. Staff were terrific in every way. The hotel is a living museum of pictures and marble and furniture. Our room was beautiful and the bathroom match the opulence of the experience. Try to get a room with a balcony and view of the lake. You will never forget how perfect your stay will be. Cant say enough good things--...

This hotel had an incredible location opposite the lake. It was a lovely hotel but only if you like old traditional type hotels. We had a great junior suite but the lay out and decor just felt a little tired for our personal liking (I think it's a preference thing). The view of the lake was great and i could...

Very classy, but accommodating. This was here before Walt Disney, and for that matter, Las Vegas, was born. Interior gives one an image of a different age. The exterior is grand beyond belief. We reserved a garden view room and were upgraded to a lake view. We were there during low season. Large, comfortable room. A very beautiful hotel.

Location is one of the best if you are after a quiet time in beautiful nature; hotel represented different slots in European history- furniture, lighting, decor had it down to the last detail. Our room was 2nd floor: Venetian chinoiserie in all its fitness- we loved all the murano crystal lighting! There was quaint balcony overlooking lake, islands. We truly...

A very elegant, impressive historic hotel. Each corner tells a different story. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel during February 2017. The staff were very hospitable, they upgrade our double room to junior suite and made our holiday unforgivable. We are very grateful. The hotel was newly refreshed and every thing was shining, clean and smell good.
