When arriving at this hotel, we were warmly greeted by helpful staff and given tips on the sights and attractions. The breakfast buffet was lovely and the service was great. We found the rooms to be quite dated in terms of decor, bed coverings, bathroom towels and general functioning of the bathroom facility. Although the room appeared to be clean,...

The hotel is situated out of the main town of Stresa but very close to boats and cable car. The hotel was very quiet when we stayed especially after dinner, the bar area is nice but the bar itself was very limited. Most of the staff helpful and Carlos at dinner is areal asset. Smallest wine glasses i have ever...

We stayed here for three nights on a holiday by rail. The staff were welcoming, friendly and professional. The location is lovely with easy access to the lake boats and only a short level 20-25 minute stroll into Stresa itself. Our room was spotlessly clean and having a small balcony to sit out on was a bonus. The dinner was...

Ideal for those looking for small, comfortable and friendly hotel, with excellent service. We had a bedroom in the main part of the hotel, on a corner, so a bigger balcony than some, with a view of the mountains and a part of the lake. Even if you opt for a lake view it will be overlooking the cable car...

Stayed as part of an Ingham holiday package. About 25 - 30 mins. from centre of Stresa. Adjacent to the Lido Baia Rosso and one of the ferry terminals to the islands. Also adjacent the cable car to Mottarone. Rooms comfortable with balcony and air conditioning. Stayed half - board. Food very good. Self service continental breakfast with English tea...

We recently returned from a weeks holiday at this charming little hotel, a pleasant 20- 30 minute lakeside stroll from the centre of Stresa, and a 2 minute walk from Carciano ferry station with its breathtaking views of the lake, the Borromean Islands and on clear days the mountains beyond. There are more frequent sailings to and from here then...

We love small hotels and this was a particularly good one. Big bedroom, lovely bathroom, huge balcony with great view of the lake - partly obscured by a tree. Food and service very good, and wifi worked well though not a priority for us while on holiday. We enjoyed the walk into Stresa which was a great base for visiting...

A three star hotel, sister of the bigger Astoria in Stresa. We stayed here to cut down on cost of accommodation with a view to spending more on trips. Locaton is about 15 to 20 minutes walk from the town centre along the lakefront. Rooms were clean and beds firm but comfortable. My only criticism would be that the rooms...

This hotel is situated in Stresa but is about a 20 minute walk via a pleasant promenade to the centre. The hotel is clean and tidy, if small, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is a buffet type meal but the choices of food are a little limited. During our stay croissants were placed on your table...

Have just returned from stay in this lovely small hotel, staff and meals excellent. There is a small front garden with very little space to relax. The front of the hotel is across a single track road from a grey concrete building the height of the hotels first floor, used to be a old disco, now being renovated and a...
