Can't speak high enough of this place. Right from our initial email exchanges to us ringing on the intercom at her doorstep, Alessandra was exceptional. She gave us our keys ( there are 2 door entries before you reach your room) and explained at length about the places to visit around Milan which we appreciated. We slept so well during...

Very good location for a walk into town centre, exceptionally clean and very well presented and delicious buffet type breakfast. Bed is wonderfully generous for two! Advice and information available from owner who is very accommodating. Having left our sun hats behind, we received them not long after through the post.

I wanted somewhere close to Milano Porta Garibaldi because I was travelling on Italo high speed rail from Florence. I chose B&B Porta Garibaldi Milano based on the reviews on Trip Advisor – and I was not disappointed. Without hesitation, this gorgeous B&B ticked all of the boxes for me:- Location: 5 Sleep Quality: 5 Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Value:...

Beautifully decorated, carefully planned and spacious apartment. Excellent facilities generous provision of food and drink and very warm welcome and hospitality from Alessandra - even to the extent of emailing us with details of how to find the apartment from Stazione Porta Garibaldi just a couple of days before we arrived. I stayed at Porta Garibaldi B&B for 9 nights with my husband. We could not have found a better place to stay in Milan. The location is excellent. It is close to the train/Metro station (especially good if you want to travel to Rho Fiera for Expo) and is surrounded by excellent cafés and restaurants including Eataly which has fantastic...

I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Porta Garibaldi to anyone else. This was our 4th stay to this amazing B&B which is better than some of 4 stars hotels we have stayed. Alessandra is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect for her guests. Can't say better than that! We already confirmed to...

We come back every year in Porta Garibaldi b&b where we feel like home. Nice and cosy very well situated in the heart of Milano close to the hype area of Porta Nova. Really enjoyed our stay in a very well laid out apartment in a great part of town. Only a short visit but soon got to find our way about on the trams - and miles on foot ! Allessandro was lovely attentive at the start, and discreet for the remainder - couldd not have asked for more.

Attention to detail and generosity of spirit is what strikes one when arriving at Porta Garibaldi B and B. Alessandra, the host and owner impressed us with her enthusiasm and the level of attention and thought given to her guests' comfort. In a small but beautiful and light space, she has created a functional bedroom, kitchen and bathroom area dotted...

Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
