We had a wonderful stay at the Mercure Solari with our group. The hotel staff couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. Our room was quiet, the beds comfortable, the shower excellent. Breakfast was a treat with a wide selection of choices: local cheeses and breads, fresh pastries, eggs, etc - something for everyone. We would stay at the Mercure Solari again in a heartbeat!

Thoroughly loved our stay in this hotel! Attended an event nearby with 15+ friends from here in the USA. It was an excellent location for our event plus easy access to all kinds of public transportation. The folks at the hotel could not have been nicer and more helpful! The front desk personnel were exceptionally knowledgeable, helpful, and delightful! Did I mention it is a great location? Walking distance to wonderful restaurants as well!

we have a great stay experience here. the reservation team assisted us very well since the booking confirmed, including assisting us to complete our trip itinerary and its transportation option. Tommy, especially, conveyed a sincere assistance to support a transportation pickup from airport (malpensa). the hotel offered a full benefit for accor member according to its level, including free breakfast kn weekend. the breakfast was also excelent, the FnB team also served us very well..and the hotel have a great taste of coffe, event if compare to the other surrounding cafe. keep up the good work, All

We stayed for a week end (one night) at Mercure Milano Solari. We chose this hotel because of its location near the Navigli district and we were absolutely delighted with the location. Naviglis are within walking distance which make the hotel great for going out for dinner, drinks or just a wander around this beautiful area of Milan. We also walked up to the Duomo which was nice. The staff at Mercure Milano Solari should be commended for their high level of professionalism and their efficiency. More importantly we could not help notice how nice and smiley each of the staff members were. We were made very welcome and the hotel felt really like home for us for the entirety of our -short- stay. The hotel is very modern and the design elegant and stylish (we find the main hotel picture - although correct - quite misleading in this respect!). The room was very comfortable, the bed was perfect and the bathroom really bright and modern. The breakfast was really nice, with fresh products (apart maybe from the fruit juices that were not the greatest). We asked to have our car parked and this was very kindly arranged (at a price, but we have of course no issue with this) by the reception staff (with a smile!). We were able to leave our car just outside the hotel and it was valet parked for us and returned upon our check out. Cherry on the pie the valet parking can arrange an electric charge overnight for the car which was great for us as we travel on a full electric car. We asked for a late check out which was very kindly granted (with a smile, as everything else) and really appreciated. I am an ACCOR hotels gold member, and my status was recognized and a special welcome note and welcome gift was waiting for us in the room. This contributed to make our stay at Mercure Milano Solare unforgettable. Overall a great stay, we would happily come again and we definitely recommend this hotel and its amazing staff.…

Stayed in this hotel from 2 weeks and intending to stay for another 2 for a business trip. There was a mix up with the booking and room type - which hotel and booking agency could not talk to each other to sort it out, Then I also checked out for the weekend -two days- and was intending to recheck in. I left a suitcase with them for safe keeping, Suitcase was opened and a brand new item was taken. Hotel manager was not helpful at all - " pretty much saying that there was nothing they could do - not even willing to investigate further, He also advised that there was no security cameras in the area they store guest luggage. There is a serious theft issue in that hotel - other colleagues are also reporting expensive item mysteriously "disappearing" - some noticed when they arrive home. Would NOT recommend such a property - you have to worry about theft in public in Italy but inside the hotel too. Left and would never go back to this place nor would recommend it to anyone!…

Dear Mr.Louis, We are sorry that you had such a bad experience, regardless the countless apologies we have provided. There is no solid evidence that can prove this theft and we are absolutely certain that our Staff is made of a team of loyal and honest people, who love their work and try to make the travellers’ experience special with us. You had left your luggage with us as you were going to return after the weekend. In this case, an exception was made going against our safety rules trying to content our Guest as you insisted on leaving the suitcase with us. We had decided to make this gesture in good faith and to help. The luggage room is not equipped with security cameras but locked up and guarded by the Reception department, which is open 24/7. On Monday, you returned from the weekend and you were already unsatisfied with the room. Unfortunately, your travel agency had booked a single bedroom with disabled bathroom instead of a double one with a regular bathroom. Even though we have sent an email both to you and to the agency days before your arrival indicating the problem, you blamed us for the mistake. We would have loved and tried to change the room to the one you desired, but as we were fully booked, this change was physically not possible. After spending about 30 minutes in the room, you came down and said you has found a plastic glove on the bathroom floor and you wanted it removed. You were under the impression that our Cleaning Staff had left the glove there during cleaning. As soon as we got aware of this information, our Receptionist immediately sent up the porter to control it, who removed a new and unused glove, which we do not use in our hotel. The glove in question was a whitish silicone one, unused while we exclusively use vivid blue ones. After spending some time in your room, you came back to the Reception, where in an annoyed and disrespectful way; accused our Staff of opening your suitcase and stealing a shirt of a certain high quality brand. You told us that we not only stole the shirt, but we had also changed the combination on his padlock. Our Staff has tried to explain that we not only have no reason to touch the luggage, but we take the privacy of the personal items very seriously. We label each suitcase and store it safely. In addition, if you had not known the combination of your own padlock, you could not have opened it in the first place, which goes against yours own theory and proves ours. Even though the accusation was fake and humiliating, we have responded respectfully, and as we did not have any clear evidence that proved what you said, we could not make any further actions. We were sure that it had nothing to do with our Staff, so we have kindly offered the only solution came to our mind helping you, to report it to the local authorities (even provided the nearest police stations’ address). You did not live with this possibility. We have provided every help and support possible, but it seemed nothing could calm down and stop a useless debate for a new room, which again, the agency mistakenly booked. We decided to stay in Mercure Milano Solari to have a more real life in Milano. With a full kitchen and living room, and a separated entrance our journey was like having our own place in the city. It is near the subway, a lot’s of bus lines, supermarkets, pizza places and everything you need.

The hotel was very nice, it's not very far away from the center. Close to the hotel is Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia Leonardo da Vinci - Padiglione Olona and the Darsena, were you can walk by the lake, it's absolute magic in the night. The breakfast was very good, also the personal (all of them) was very friendly.

Currently at this hotel. It’s rating needs an urgent review. Quite basic, stained hall and reception carpets has none of the extra touches you expect with a 4 star rating. Hotel is in need of complete refurbishment. Importantly NO WiFi. Very disappointed and would not recommend.

I was really dissolved in my stay here. They failed to clean my room even though I was out the whole day and told me that I put a do no disturb sign on the door which I didn’t. They also took such a long time to let us have more towels and told us that they had no extra pillows already. It was sad. The internet was also super slow not super fast and the tv was tiny. I was really disappointed

Concerning the cleaning, our Staff informed you that the Housekeeping does not enter into your room to clean it if you leave the keycard inside the room or put no disturb sign on the door. However, we are very sad and surprised to read your comment about the problem of the towels because; a clean towels and bed-linens were always available at the Reception. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of.
