A beautiful establishment. The rooms are very well appointed and have all of the modern facilities you would expect. There is complimentary service into the centre every 15 minutes which is very helpful and quick. Great place to stay, although it doesn't come without having deep pockets. All in all a very enjoyable and smart hotel

Many thanks for the concierge as I was in urgent need of medication and they help me in that. Also there is a 24 hour Carrfor store near by and actually you don't need to order anything from the house keeping. The breakfast buffet is fine not that good if you can avoid it just avoid it. In addition to...

This review is not aimed at hotel staff (since I doubt anyone would be ever bothered to make any improvements) but rather at other travellers in order to warn them against this complete waste of money. The hotel used to be beautiful and luxurious probably many years ago, but classical style roms and beautiful hallways (nicely decorated for Christmas as...

Dear Mrs kabanchik85, Thank you for sharing your review, which stands on its own on this page. It really does show how each of us has their own view, after all. Our hotel undergoes systematic refurbishment: for instance last year all the Mosaic rooms were revamped. My guess is you may have stayed with us during Fashion Week, that is...

5 star hotel and Oswaldo is the penultimate concierge. He went over and above board arranging our day trip to Lake Como from purchasing our tickets / what ferries to catch and what towns to hit to make the most of the day. Both my husband and I travel often and we've never met another Concierge of Oswaldo's caliber. Highlights...

The Principe is a beautiful hotel, and if you enjoy feeling as if someone is trying to drown you with marble and glitz, then you will enjoy this place very much. We had a few issues trying to regulate the room temperature, but the staff were on top of it, and took care of the issues quickly and happily. We...

Wonderful luxury and service. Stayed 2 nights in a twin room with a friend for New Years Eve. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Concierge provided excellent advice. They also provide a free limousine service for guests at set times into the city centre. Excellent breakfast. Very pricey hotel but it is justified.

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
