I was on business and needed easy access to the station and to MM2 so the location attracted me. However, the services and comfort of the hotel, as well as the quirky exterior, will bring me back. Great breakfast, good Wi-Fi connection and helpful staff. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Easy to find, just across from Central Station. Well connected - metro is 100m from the entrance. Rooms are ok, but nothing special. Breakfast also barely average, cold only, not much choices. Free and pretty well working Internet connection. Friendly staff. The biggest problem which we had, was location of our room, next to the elevator shaft. Elevator which was...

We were very lucky to choose hotel Auriga in Milan on our way to the Lake Como for one night. The hotel has a perfect location only couple of minutes walk from Stazione Centrale, very closed to the metro station for a visit to Plaza Duomo (yellow line 4 stations direction S.Donato euro 1.50) and in a quiet street for...

Marco the barman is so friendly and welcoming he really makes this hotel worth staying at. The other great thing about this is its closeness to the central railway station and the metro. If you are a single traveller I would recommend you go here as Marco will make you feel comfortable.

I was on a business trip in Milan and chose the Auriga Hotel because it is central. Even though it is literally next to Milano Centrale, I was travelling by car. The hotel does not have a parking, but next to it are at least two attended parking garages. The service in the hotel was friendly, the room was nice.

The location was very convenient - just minutes walk away from the rail station. The breakfast was exceptionally good. The deco was a bit old but acceptable. The bathroom was quite spacious. The staff was helpful and reasonably friendly. We could hear and feel some kind of train running in our room (either the train or the tram nearby) but...

Stayed here for my second trip to the Italian Grand Prix and what a gem of a place it is. Just a hop from Central Station so within easy reach of all Milan locations. We were lucky enough to get their 2 suites in the top floor, both with balconies and very well appointed bedroom, sitting area and bathroom. On...

I have stayed here twice thus far and I intend to continue this tradition in the future. Once you step out of the Central Station, you can see the hotel sign. Who can beat that?? Its décor reminds me of a travelling circus; very colorful and jolly. The room is comfortable, clean and the bathroom is new (at least in...

We were only in Milano for 24 hours, and arriving & departing by train, so wanted something close to the main train station, but easy to get to the key attractions, plus very comfortable after a long flight. Really nice hotel - room was spacious and very clean and the bath was a wonderful treat after a LONG day of walking....

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
