Great hotel spot on location, 5 minutes to the station, 30 minutes to the Duomo, turn right out of the hotel left at the top of the street and straight all the way to the Duomo. Lots of restaurants nearby. (we ate at Papa Nicola it was really good, turn left out of the hotel its on the corner on the opposite side). The room was immaculate as was the bathroom, shower water pressure was brilliant, very nice toiletries too. Very comfy bed, choice of pillows, free soft drinks in the mini bar, tea and coffee in the room also available in the reception area for free. Safe in the room. Great air con. Happy hour in the bar area from around 6pm if you wish to have a drink they provide a free buffet.
The front of house staff are first class very welcoming helpful and informative . A credit to the hotel. The cleaning staff also must work very hard as I have said the presentation of the room and bathroom was immaculate they are also a credit to the hotel.
Our room was changed without question as the first room we were given was next to the lifts and stairs nothing wrong with the room just my preference not to be close to lifts due to passed experience in other hotels, you tend to get a disturbed sleep. We had to leave early so did not get chance to sample breakfast but of what I have read its pretty amazing too. Will definitely stay here again when we are in Milan. Thanks for a great stay.

This hotel has a very good location. It is situated very close to the railway station and metro stations. It can take you 5-7 minutes to get there. All staff of this hotel is very professional, friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Chambermaids do their work very good and and never disturb guests. There are four free soft drinks in the bars and they provide one bottle of water every day. You can prepare tea or instant coffee yourself in your room. There is a computer corner in the hotel so you can use computer anytime and if you need you can print out something. You can get a tasty and generous breakfast in the morning, buffet. There is some cheese, sausage, oats, milk, yoghurt, fruit, cakes etc. This hotel has a really nice and friendly atmosphere.

My husband had a trade show to attend in Rho Fiera Milano in February. My son and I traveled with him. Needing a place close to Milan Central, Hotel Berna was the right choice. Very accommodating, clean, and great staff was just the beginning. Since our son was traveling with us, our room was a little tight, but we were able to remedy that by visiting the lounge area near the front desk. There, we could have coffee, cookies, and check business e-mail fairly uninterrupted. At night, we went to the bar area, and enjoyed aperitivo with a drink. The bartender made me the best Gin Fizz I ever tasted. The whole city was bustling because it was Fashion Week. The breakfast Buffett was wonderful, and anything we needed was brought to us with a Buongiorno and a smile. We have business associates in Italy, and are truly saddened by what this invisible monster has done to them. When the time comes, and we all find our new normal, we will go back to our favorite country in Europe, and the place we love so much.

We chose this hotel after reading recommendations on Rick Steve's website. It did not disappoint. It was a little more expensive than others close by but it was worth it. We got a room right away, room and bathroom were comfortable with everything you need and very quiet. TV and Wi-Fi worked just fine. Breakfast was excellent and abundant. It's an easy 7 min. walk with luggage to the train station there is an entrance to the Metro half a block away.
Everything was very clean and the welcome drinks are nice. However, their website does not clarify that drinks are only offered on the first day, and just bottled water for the rest of your stay. The way it is written on the website as well as in the "customize stay" page is misleading because it can be interpreted as being offered every day. I would like that information to be clear on their website.
We stayed five nights, and on the third night my husband mentioned that the bed seemed firmer than others. I was thinking the same. I had a little difficulty sleeping one night because my hips hurt, but in general it was fine. But be aware that the bed may be firmer than you'd like.
We had a great time and would stay at this hotel again.

A great hotel with charming staff and ideally positioned to visit Milan to either walk, train, metro or bus.
The room was extremely comfortable and of a high quality and everything in the bedroom and bathroom was spotless.
I could not do the vast spread of food available at breakfast justice, but I had a good attempt.

The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the Milano Centrale train station; great location on a quiet street that has restaurants nearby. The room was smallish (17sf), but what was so nice is that they asked what amenities we would like in the room: beverages, type of blanket, type of pillows (request the wool pillows; they were so comfortable and we fell asleep right away), and even the type of toilet paper (soft vs fragranced). The breakfast buffet was immense with fresh fruit, cold cuts, eggs, hot meat, cereals, pastries, coffees, teas, juices, and cappuccinos on request. Do not miss the apple cake or the freshly pressed carrot juice. Staff was so personable!

Very good hotel, nothing to complain. Very close to the subway station/central station. Reception staffs were helpful. I sent an email one morning to print my ticket to La Scala and it was ready and waiting for me at the reception in the envelop. I asked to get a cab to take me to the airport, when I left. The cab came in 5 minutes and took me to Linate airport with the flat rate 35 Euro. Everything was very efficient.

Hotel Berna is a real 4 stars hotel, what is difficult to find in this part of Milan. The reception, check in and check out through internet plus details like a very happy rubber duck in the room make the guest feel welcome.
The hotel in general has a good atmosphere, a star room and safe space to keep the luggage. The room I stayed had a good size, was clean, had a tv with enough channels available, internet working very well, shower working, power plug near the bed. Breakfast buffet had lots of good quality options. I only missed some toiletries. There is a sign saying they can be requested at reception but I asked for cotton swabs, an item commonly available in hotels and the answer was that they didn't have them. Only shampoo and soap were available in the room. Some of the empolyees could be more sympathetic but none was rude. It is not a cheap hotel but has a good cost benefit for the services and experience that offers, compared to others in the same area.

Hi, I only stayed for one night but I felt ok walking around near the hotel. I did not use the train or metro at night. This hotel is a 5-10 min walk from the station so I cannot comment on how safe the actual station area felt.
We didn’t see any parking and I would assume there isn’t any. We arrived by Metro which was really convenient.
Hi, Check with the Hotel, I’m sure they will be able to help, btw it’s a great place to stay.
Sorry. I didn't travel as a family and can't answer the question. Why not give them a call? the staff us very helpful.
Just tell the hotel you want the main building when you make your reservation
