The hotel is very good and the reception staff could not have been more help. I took ill from drinking the water, and they arranged for a doctor and also allowed to stay another night in the room so I could recover. We were meant to move to another smaller hotel, but they insisted I stay where I was, and...

The hotel is perfectly acceptable in terms of the accommodation facilities and excellent in terms of location as it is just 2 mins walking distance from Milan Central. There are a lot of food joints nearby and the breakfast at the hotel is pretty decent. The hotel lacks facilities like iron board and does not have mini bar to help...

I am a little puzzled at some of the reviews posted. My experience was very positive. I stayed one night on return from Torino. The hotel is directly opposite the station which was helpful as it was raining heavily when I arrived. Check in was quicker than I have often experienced, maybe not warm and welcoming but certainly efficient. The...

Stayed at hotel at end of a month of touring around Europe. The location although not pretty is a short walk to the main Milan Railway Station giving you access to trains to anywhere in Europe. Not a great deal to see in close proximity to the hotel but it's quite easy to travel to the main attractions via the...

The location of this hotel is definitely the best thing about it. The rooms and hotel itself are very dated however you could tell it would have been a really nice place back when it was first opened. the bed is uncomfortable. The staff were quite rude from the outset and we felt really unwelcome/out of place.

I say this all the time in my reviews, but we prefer location above most other attributes. This Hotel is AAA on location, A on breakfast and B on all the rest. Located right outside Milano Centrale (a minutes walk) , getting in out and around from here is very convenient. It is a large but dated hotel and it...

The hotel is located right of Milano Centrale so you cannot go wrong with the location. Getting in out and around from here is very convenient. It is a bit dated hotel and it reflects all around. The room is large (huge by what we have experienced in Rest of Europe) but the bed is old and saggy ( but...

Very good for short stay or for business trip, located near the Central Station. The room was very clean, but the furniture was old. The temperature in the room could not be raised from 21 degree C, although theoretically you could raise it with 4 degree. The massaging tube in the bathroom was relaxing. The breakfast was served starting 06:30...

Michelangelo Hotel is located next to Milan's Central Train Station. The trains connect to the airport, and this makes it a perfect location for travelers. The immediate neighborhood is not spectacular (although the station is), but it allows you to move to where important landmarks are. The hotel itself is a solid "four star"; nothing exceptional but no disappointment either....

Stayed for 4nights in a row and came back again for a couple of nights. Location was perfect as it is less than 5mins walk to Milano Centrale Station where you could connect via train to most of Italy and Switzerland. For Muslims, halal food is just walking distance around the area. Try the Centrale Turkish Restaurant next to the...

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
