Surprisingly decent. The rooms were large and clean. Obviously the rooms were a bit old and the walls thin, but overall it was a good hotel experience for the price. The area was quite and felt safe, even though it was not in a tourist area. It took about 20 min walk to get to the centre. 7 min walk to the blue subway line.

This hotel is just NOT suitable for Tourists, horrible location and neighbourhood. Disturbance at night from other rooms. It was our mistake also - as we made reservations without a proper review search. I would never recommend this hotel to any tourist - couples or families - it will ruin your vacation. The only good side is - the front desk staff was helpful at all times. Unless you are crazy about fashion, I would NOT recommend Milan visit - instead spend a day more in Tuscany region around Florence. The visitor entry limitations to Last Super painting is also over hyped, we did manage to get-in at the last moment with the help of a tourist guide - its Italy back door entries are possible.

The hotel location is not bad but it's not excellent either, by bus you are able to reach the Duomo in about 15 minutes, so it's not a problem. The staff is really helpful, the rooms are big and clean. Ohhh and the breakfast is really good. It's a fine 3,5 stars hotel.

Overall this is an ok hotel. My room was spotlessly clean and had a desk, TV, minibar, safe, phone and modern bathroom. The furnishings are outdated but overall a comfy stay and therefore good value for Milan. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The area is fine, there's a supermarket and couple of cafes around. Molise 2 Hotel is located about 5-10 minutes from Porta Vittoria Station - outside of the metro lines, you will therefore need to rely on trams or buses mainly to get into the city centre and you can always take the train (not metro). A tram takes about 20-25 mins to get to Centrale and from there you can take the metro to Duomo etc. Overall good hotel - would be better if it was a bit closer to the centre but then if it was it would be more expensive!

Overall: Good. And the clerk who was present at both our check-in and check-out was the most helpful chap imaginable. That may vary, of course -- there were at least 4 other clerks who were present at different times. Check-in: Standard hotel check-in Language: Italian. Our clerk had a decent grasp of English too. I don't know if the other clerks do too. Space/decor: Surprisingly spacious. We had asked for a double, but were given a triple which meant we had an extra bed where we could spread out stuff. Noise: We were in the back, but there was still way too much street noise early in the morning. I recommend keeping the windows closed and the ventilation on. It was fine like that. And we didn't hear anything from the hall. Comfort: The bed was fine although it was 2 singles pushed together, not a double. Cleanliness: excellent Heat/ac: Both available. Internet/TV: WiFi costs extra (not too unreasonable). We found the signal very weak in our room: sometimes we could receive, sometimes not. There was a TV. The room did not have nearly enough electrical outlets for the modern gadget owner. Breakfast: 7 euros per person -- too much I thought so we didn't try it Parking: unknown. We used public transport. Distance to attractions: You'll need the tram to get downtown. I recommend #16 -- we got off at the Crocette Metro station and took the Metro from there. That was much faster than the #12 all the way in. If you load your GPS with the public transport routes, you'll have a really easy time. If you're a paper person, you may want to trace the tram routes on to your map. I found routes 2 & 3 (Duomo - Navigli/canal district) and 12,16 & 27 (Duomo - Hotel) useful. Brera is also a super area, but it is easy to walk there from the Duomo so you don't really need the trams for that.
