When booking the Canova Hotel be sure to stay in the main building, they have rooms available in a second building across the street however it seems to be rooms available on an apartment block. The main hotel is nicer having undergone a refurb so bathrooms are nice and clean and the rooms are also clean and comfy. Breakfast is...

Clean rooms, some street noise and footsteps from rooms above. Very convenient to train station and subway stations. Helpful staff. Beds very soft and no boards were available. Breakfast available for an additional 8 euros. Lobby is a little funky: faux-leopard skin couches with gold trim, but it adds some personality. Close to lots of pleasant restaurants. Good value for...

I have experience of two different kind of rooms as i stayed at two different dates. One was apartment, on the third floor. The lift was not working was it was kind of issue tio carry luggage up and down. But with kitchen availability in the apartment makes up for the lift. Next time i preferred room in the hotel...

Stayed here for two nights in September. The room was very spacious and very clean but the air conditioning did not work very well. The staff was very accommodating and offered a different room but it was smaller so we decided not to change rooms. The breakfast was very good with many options. Overall a good place to stay for...

Great hotel located near the Centrale railway station. We stayed in room 176 which was 7th floor (free upgrade), and overlooked the city. Really clean rooms, ideal for a city stay and as a bonus very quiet. The staff are great, really friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is continental and plenty of choice. Would thoroughly recommend.

Stayed here for three nights mid September 2016. Two minutes from the central station and less than that for a metro entrance. Perfect for navigating the city. Breakfast was of good quality with lots of options including scrambled eggs and sausages. We would certainly use again

The only thing which works in favour of this hotel is it's convenient location.. 100 meters from metro line and about 500 meters from Milano Centrale.. Also the rooms are clean and adequately spacious.. Otherwise the lobby is a mess and it seems as if couches and sofas are just piled up there.. Also the common passageways are not managed...

Stayed here for 1 night, we were a group of 6 with 2 rooms. The hotel was clean and comfortable, an easy walk to the station and breakfast was included. The hotel has a lift, air conditioning, room safe and the room was sufficient in size for the three of us. There's lots of restaurants nearby and it's not too...

Air-conditioning was OK, but could have been better. The decor is a bit quirky, but given we were only staying one night it was OK,. but we found a more modern hotel for our return trip. TV is basically only for Italians. Wi-fi isn't great and cuts out a lot. We ate locally; and not in the hotel.

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
