We stayed as a couple for one night on a B&B basis in November as part of a trip to travel on the Bernina Express to Chur and on-wards to Luzerne. The hotel is located in the main central part of Milan and excellent and offers easy walking for the main attractions and sites as well as the shopping areas.... More

Location is the best part about this hotel. Walking distance from the main attractions of the city and the shopping areas as well. If you are booking day trips, most of the starting points are close by. Breakfast was a small spread but good, so was the coffee. Highly recommended!

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The location is fantastic, close to everything. The hotel is comfortable but very expensive. The rooms are quite small with a tiny bathroom which was hard to use given the lack of space and shelving. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast is fantastic as is the rooftop bar but again, drinks are... More

The hotel is on a great location, right in the center of Milan great for tourists and for shopping. Staff is helpful and polite without going the extra mile though. The room was freezing and I could not find a blanket. Bathroom and room decor in general are dated although clean..this if one is used to carpet. Breakfast was a... More

We stayed two days here. As every other review, the breakfast buffet is very good and varied. Servers are particularly attentive. We also had dinner at the restaurant, very nice ambiance and not too crowded. A bit on the expensive side though. Rooms are quite large, nicely appointed, comfortable and clean. The location of the Hotel is very convenient, just... More

This is a business hotel, certainly not for a romantic weekend. THe location is good the price is fair and the breakfast is generous and the breakfast staff cheerful and efficient. The desk reception is ok, not more than that.

There was a mistake during the reservation, we reserved 2 DOUBLE rooms for 4 people, however for some reason it appeared to be 1 per every room only, however they wanted to charge us 50 euros extra per person so the total will be 220 euros per room, we asked the employees on the counter to provide some other options... The hotel is what you would expect it to be. Well sized clean rooms and a very good breakfast. The location is excellent, within walking distance to everything. I found it a bit too expensive but I guess in terms of Milan rates it's still reasonable.

Very well located - a 7 minute walk to the most gorgeous Duomo - and the surrounding areas. The bus stop was 2 minutes away and the metro station was 4 minutes away. Good clean hotel with a fantastic breakfast lay out. The staff was most helpful. We made a good choice!

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
