Nice hotel located on a relatively quiet street near the Duomo and many other Milan attractions. Extremely warm and friendly staff. Everyone was wonderful: reception staff, bar and breakfast room staff, housekeeping staff. Wish I'd made more of an effort to get their names to give them credit, but truly everyone we encountered was happy, friendly, and helpful. Well appointed rooms and hotel common areas. Overall, a great experience - thanks!

Staff were lovely and the location, just around the corner from the Duomo and the Emanuelle II Palazzo was awesome. The rooms were not 5 stars but among the cleanest we came across in the two months of travelling and very comfortable. We would go back there in a heartbeat. The 6.00pm complimentary welcome drinks were a great way to meet other guests.

Spent two nights--clean and substantial rooms, friendly staff, great location. Wifi had intermittent issues and air conditioning was not great. Very suitable as a comfortable non-luxury hotel. Appreciated the availability of free water bottles and welcome drinks every night.

All amenities, very welcoming, friendly, helpful and generous. Centrally located. Couldn’t have asked for better. Free soft drinks in the fridge. Stayed a night, Lakes tour for a week then back again, like coming home. Strongly recommended by our travel agents.

I would recommend Gran Duca di York based on the title of my review. The employees were all very helpful and were available for any recommendations one might want. Our rooms were kept very clean. The lounge and bar area were very welcoming. Each early evening there is wine served gratis at the bar. Water and fresh fruit were available during the day at no charge.

This hotel was just perfect for our stay in Milan. We were able to walk to the Galleria, the Duomo, the castle and Michaelangelo's painting of the Last Supper. We had an awesome dinner at an amazing Italian restaurant nearby. The hotel offered free soft drinks and water and a free glass of wine at happy hour. Breakfast was really great too. I would stay here again and again. Thanks so much!

This hotel is perfect in every way! The location is great, right by the duomo and a short walk to all the sights. The hotel itself is spotless, the rooms are comfortable and you’ll enjoy a delicious breakfast every morning. The front desk staff is always there to help with any questions or arrangements. A special shout out to Alberto for all his help over the last 4 nights!! I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Milan!
