Manzoni is a nice boutique hotel in the middle of Milan's fashion district. Everything is as what you would expect from a $350 a night hotel here. The hotel itself is charming and 2016 up to date. If you like marble floors, you'll like the Manzoni. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Room appointments are tack driving efficient and modern (each...

We found the hotel to be very well situated for our excursions exploring Milan. Our room had a terrace balcony, perfect for enjoying a bottle of wine with our friends before dinner... My husband and I stayed in Milan two nights on our trip to northern Italy. The hotel Manzoni is in one of the more luxurious areas of Milan. The staff was nice and our room was well appointed and priced well below the other luxury hotels nearby. It's within walking distance to some of the major Milanese sights and near...

Stayed 3 nights. Hotel was spotless, service was impeccable. Room had no view, but I suspected that as it was only a base level room price, but super comfortable King bed. Room was on the smaller size, other larger rooms are possible with balconies for higher price. My room was under $ 350 per night, which I thought was pretty...

The hotel is well situated being only a short walk from the Duomo. Despite being central it is amazingly peaceful and we heard no noise from outside. The rooms are on the small side but well appointed and comfortable. The aircon is unobtrusive. Staff here are welcoming and professional, the barman particularly so. Breakfast is good with a wide choice,...

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
