We stayed at a private room and it was comfortable. The reception lady was very nice. Brera is a very good location if you want to see the historical places and shop at the same time. I would recommend this hostel but I have no idea about its shared rooms. Everything was clean and the location was very good and...

Stayed here one night in a 6 room dorm. Very large room with a huge locker provided, the room was separated into two separate sides of 3 beds with there own side shower/ bathroom, very nice by the way. Just a 5 min walk from the metro station & one stop from the famous duomo, would definitely stay here again....

This hostel is located a bit away from major streets and therefore is quiet at night. It is also conveniently located to a metro stop that goes everywhere you need. Staff is amazing, thanks a lot to them!

The hostel was clean and nice, but I didn't like the thing that the bathroom in 4 share dorm was without key! The staff was very cold, you need to ask everything, when we arrived they didn't even explain us where is the kitchen and the common area. I have been sleeping in lot of hostels but this was the first...

This place was awesome, close to transit and friendly staff. The room had a little bit of a jail feel being so small with only one window, but it was clean and friendly. Maybe bring your own blankets if you can as you only get a single bed sheet, but it was still a great place!

Staying in Brera

Neighbourhood Profile
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
