Stayed here for 1 night while passing through Milan on a roadtrip. the hostel itself is nice and modern with everything you expect from a hostel. It is relativelly central and is walking distance to the centre of the city. Basic rooms, value for money!

I stayed there with my friends and had a room for ourselves. The bathroom was clean, and had a fridge. The mattresses are kinda old but you can still sleep on it. Most of the people in the counter were really nice, and the kitchen is big.

We were 3 generations together, I've stayed with my 4 years old daughter and my mom. It was a really great surprise - amazing staff, amazing service (my child even got a chocolate when we arrived and when we left - little acts, huge heart). It's a very clean place and beautiful. The shower was amazing, hot, so was the...

We had a great 2-nights stay in Milan at this Hostel. It has a 24/7 reception and lots of facilities: free access to internet - both wi-fi and a laptop at your disposal, a minibar at the reception, fussball table and a big cow in the middle of the room - and they are proud of it. Staff is nice...

Just stayed here one night. I arrived late (00:30) and left early. I got a update from a 6 dorm to a 4 dorm. The dorm had an amazing bad room and big locker. The beds where clean and nice. The only petty was there was no breakfast in the morning. I would recommend the hostel to anybody else!

Wow; has my mind been changed regarding Hostels! The NGH Urban Brera was clean; bright and cheerful. The level of hospitality outsurpassed my expectations! A large fridge in each room; all rooms ensuite; plenty of blankets offered when requested; all bedding clean and matresses were thick and deep; also wider than the usual single bed. We had booked several rooms;...

Milan is pricy, especially during expo and I am too old for a dorm, so I thought this NEW GENERATION would mean something good for me, I booked a twin and from the pictures online it looked like a modern clean neat room, pretty much what I would have expected from a modern simple hotel. Instead we got a room...

Staying in Brera

Neighbourhood Profile
Brera
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
