The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the central station. The neighbourhood looks rough but it's quiet and safe. The hotel is a well restored old building with a beautiful garden. The staff is very friendly and helpfull.

Wow this was a very good hotel in a good location. Metro and buses are a short distance away and. If you are keen on walking the city centre is about 30-40 minutes walk. I love walking so this was great for me. Also plenty of good restaurants nearby. The room is not the best - but it is enough...

I stayed there 4 night. Room was big with its own ensure & balcony. Towels were changed every day & room cleaned. My room was on the top floor-good exercise walking up there. Literally a few minutes from Milan central train station - metro, trams, supermarket. Although the lady on the reception did not speak English and my Italian is non-existence,...

Good location, close to Milan Central railway station and close to metro lines 1 (Lima stop) and 3 (Centrale stop), both of which lead to Piazza Duomo (Duomo stop). Clean room. Safe building. The room has no fridge. Breakfast is good but with no many options.

I will start by saying the hotel is a really nice place. We arrived late at night, it was as other people have said easy to find and the night reception man was friendly and welcoming and had a good grasp of English which was appreciated. The room itself was lovely and the bathroom and shower were fine. The buffet...

This charming little hotel is about a seven minute walk to the train station. There's a very nice man at the front desk who speaks English. He let us keep our luggage at the hotel even after we'd checked out, while we saw more of Milan, as our train didn't leave until much later in the day. The hotel has...

Very stylish hotel, in old building, not very big, with a unique atmosphere. Clean, well equiped rooms, good wifi included, no breakfast included in my room rate, very friendly and helpful staff, just few steps from railway and bus station (if you come from Bergamo it is perfect location in Milano). Not very far from underground, 30 minutes walk from...

Perfect place to stay! Got off my train after a long trip and found the hotel easily. They had great wifi, it was very clean and there was breakfast in the morning. It was also 2 blocks from the shopping street which was convenient. They even were nice enough to let me leave my bags in the lobby after I...

Nice hotel, very basic. But you don't spend much time in your hotel room. It had everything you needed, hairdryer TV, free wifi. There is no lift and our room was on the second floor so a bit of a climb with suitcases. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly. Lots of restaurant close by.

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
