Hotel Valley is in an ideal location for those interrailing, since it is only 5 minutes from Milan Centrale. This and its very cheap price attracted me to it, but I really think that this is really only a one night place for those taking the train. Stayed in an en-suite triple room, which was clean with relatively comfortable beds....

The room i stayed in was a good size with a clean en suite bathroom. There is no air con so it can get very hot. I wouldn't recommend leaving the window open either as we ended up with quite a lot of insect bites the day after we did this. I would probably describe hotel valley as a hostel as...

Hotel Valley Milan is located only a 5 min walk from the Main Train Station in Milan which is perfect if you're Interrailing as i was. It is located in a block of apartments, which didn't look great from the outside but inside it was fine. There was a small reception area. The room was really big and spacious and...

The location is great... it's about 5 minutes from the train station and close to a metro stop. The room was decent and had a balcony. The bathroom was horrible however. The toilet did not work, and after complaining about it, they said they would fix it while we we're gone for dinner. When we came back, it was still...

Me and my girlfriend stayed here, it was actually July 2009, not a clue why I have left it so late to review... We went on a budget conscious holiday for a week, and decided to stay here simply due to price. I wish we didn't! Anyways, the good bits: Location is excellent, 5 mins walk from Central Station, and...

Two minutes from the station this hotel has a really decent location, just don’t try and park your car anywhere near it. The area and in fact the hotel itself has a run down feel about it, but for the cheapest hotel I could find in a country were everything is expensive I think it’s reasonable. We had booked a...

The desk clerk was viewing porn on the computer when we walked up once. Also, twice later he had a video conversation going with a woman when we walked up to the desk. At the entrance which is a iron gate with a bunch of call buttons in an apartment house, there was a string of red lights on the...

Horrible experience here. After we left the hotel, hotel staff fraudulently charged our credit card again after two weeks. It took us quite an effort to get back our money.

Staying in Bicocca

Neighbourhood Profile
Bicocca
Although Bicocca is a peripheral district, many visitors will find it appealing. The district is enveloped by the immense Parco Nord (North Park), one of the largest parks in Europe. Inside is the theater Arcimboldi, one of the most important contemporary theaters where concerts and shows are organized. In the same area, there is the University of Milan Bicocca, whose distinct architecture rivals a movie set. Coffee shops, a multiplex and a shopping center are in the campus, along with the Fondazione Hangar Bicocca, one of the most famous museums of Contemporary Art.
