Was a nice Central location, fairly close to the main train station, and very close to a Tram stop. A couple of convenient shops and restaurants right around the corner form this hostel. The room smelled of smoke. But for the shared Bathroom space, it was kept very clean.

I have read quite a bad review/ experienced on Arno or Eva Hotel as they are known. Seeing is believing. My daughter and I had to stay one night in Arno Hotel prior to us flying home as it will closer to Bergamo Airport. There's a stretch of hotels, motels you name it as we arrived in Milan, near the... We stayed here for two nights in Milan. Firstly, the location isn't the best. The area is quite dodgy looking and it was a bit of a scary first impression of Milan. It is around a 25 minute walk from the Milan Duomo. Look for a blue and white 'Hotel' sign when you first get to the street. The staff... More

Hotel Arno is about a 20 minute walking distance from Milan Centrale station. It's about a 25-30 minute walk to Milan Cathedral; make sure you also visit the park just south - you can walk through it. Although they don't mention this, the suburb surrounding Hotel Arno is very dodgy - there's a big refugee intake in this neighbourhood, and... More

Its situated just outside the center of Milan about 10 mins walk away through a very nice park. We found it a little hard to find as the sign isn't huge and we drove past it twice before finally seeing it! Once you find it and take the miniscule lift to the right floor (this lift was definitely a highlight... More

takes 10-15 mins walks from train station and easy to find out. Good Wifi and tidy clean. Really funny of the small lift i have seen, capacity for 2 pax only. We were two people, have to take the luggage using the lift one by one. The staff was very funny and made joke all the times , however i... More

Loved Patrizio, thought he was an excellent hotel owner. He was very kind and offered advice over Milan. My only grief was the place was a bit out of the way from the train station, but you get what you pay for. I thought hotel size was decent, we were two people and comfortable. I agree with other reviews the... More

This is the cheapest hotel I could find when I stayed in Milano It's 10min away from the Central Station Their elevator freaked me out: it's the old type of manual elevators where you need to close manually the door... The rooms are small, the beds comfortable, very clean The toilets are shared I'm a young woman and all that... More

Near the central train station. The receptionists are polite and helpful. The rooms offer the basic and are clean. The tighter lift I have ever used in my life hahaha. Fair price. Close to very good restaurants!

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
