This hotel is minutes’ walk from Milan central station and is located in a quiet street with a bakery and supermarket nearby. The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful and reception was always manned. The room was of a good size and was nice and warm although we got stuck using the air con but were advised how to turn...

I have stayed in this decent priced hotel many times over the years. It's very simple and the rooms are tiny, but clean. Location between the railway station and Corso Buenos Aires is the best thing. Nice staff too and ok wifi.

Stayed here one night. The staff were friendly but I did notice it was the only place of the six hotels I stayed at on this trip where nobody offered to carry my suitcase up the stairs to my room for me. The bed was quite hard but wasn't uncomfortable and I slept fine, was great to have air-con too....

The staff was friendly and willing to help. The hotel was pretty close to the main attractions and the Central Station. The room was very clean and so was the bathroom. We expected it worse due to the small amount we paid to stay. Luckily, it exceeded our expectations. The only problem was that we could hear noises from all...

Hotel Nettuno is a nice budget hotel in Milan, Italy. Fairly close to most places tourists want to go. Metro trains and buses are close and there are many restaurants near by. Rooms are small but not tiny. Adequate en suite bath. No elevator, but when your on a budget that's fine. Very nice staff.

Booking a room at Hotel Nettuno turned out to be a nightmare. We booked through Booking.com, and made sure to read all policies and hotel rules before booking. We got the hotel and checked in fine, but with some hassle: the staff insisted on seeing passports, and did not accept any other form of identification. In the middle of the...

LOCATION: Hotel Nettuno is located on a street that's not all that vibrant and a bit on the dreary side. It's within 15 minutes from the main train station and close to an underground stop. HOTEL: This small budget hotel is more of the mom & pop variety. There's no lift, in case that's an issue. It wasn't for me....

Room was clean, close to the central station but super tiny ( shower booth in the single room is the smallest I have ever seen). No food service but very helpful English speaking staff available 24hours. Went for the ITAM 2015 exhibition and it was very expensive for what was offered.

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
