This is a beautiful clean and comfortable B and B the hosts are friendly and very helpful and accommodating. Definitely a five star experience and we will be back next time we are in the area. The breakfast is great too. This is B and B heaven
We were met by the host Anna Maria who showed us to our room and greeted us with freshly slice water melon which was a nice touch, considering we had just travel 400km on our motorcycle and temperature was around 35*c. The room was exceptionally clean and well cool with aircon available. The room had a mini bar well stocked and the prices were reasonable. Anna Maria then asked us what time would we like breakfast, which we thought was very considerate. Anna Maria recommended us a restaurant (Campanaro) in Asti, which was perfect for the evening. Anna Maria then helped us further by driving us to Asti which after showing us some important sites of Asti then dropped us off for the evening. She then later with her daughter picked us up at Asti and drove us back to casacina Rossa, where we had the best night sleep. In the morning at 07:30 we had the most amazing breakfast of our whole trip, it was beautifully prepared and presented to us outside under the centre arch of the house. Anna Maria her daughter and her husband were the best host we had met of our whole road trip across Europe over two weeks. Just to cap this, it was also the cheapest place we had stayed. Asti is place which demands more time to explore, our only regret was we didn’t stay long enough, to enjoy Asti more and more importantly Casacina Rossa. Thank you so much Anna Marie x.…
We had a wonderful stay, our hosts were very warm and welcoming to us and our dog. The room was very clean and comfortable. We chose to have an evening meal there too which was excellent. We booked this B&B because we wanted to be near Asti but also very near the mortorway. When we first arrived we thought it was maybe a bit too close to the motorway, however the place it's self is very quite we did't actually realise we were so close. We are very much looking forward to staying again. Thank you
Our staying at B&B Casina Rossa was a very pleasant experience! The breakfast offered is very good, every morning you can find a homemade cake together with other local specialities (cheese are always wonderful). The B&B owners are very hospitable and polite; bedrooms are well cleaned and very comfortable. Try to believe!
We stayed at cascina rossa only one night but could enjoy the very warm, friendly and welcoming hosts Annemaria and Luigi. The room itself was very spacious, very clean, airconditioned and included all you need. The copious breakfast is served outside when weather is good. We asked where to eat in the evening in Asti and the hosts proposed also the possibility to eat at Cascina Rossa which we agreed on and was the best choice to made. Luigi prepared a dish with all regional specialities which was very tasteful and even possibilities for primo, secundi piatti, dessert and liquori for a very democratic price. Because of the very nice weather we had dinner outside, a table for two, only for us, which was very special. This B&B is certainly a 'top location' and a 'must stop' when staying in the region of Asti. We'll certainly come back when in the neighbourhood.…
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay at this B&B. As it's located just outside of Asti, it's really only convenient when you're driving. The room was air-conditioned - a necessity because of the 33+ degree C day when we arrived. It is quiet and the facilities clean. The breakfast was a delight: a variety of home-grown produce were either available for selection or used in the ingredients.
Very welcoming, extremely hospitable and a good night's sleep. I got in late and the lady of the house was up waiting for me and welcomed me into her home with grace and charm. I told her that I needed to work (it was one of those weeks) and she brought me a nice Italian espresso coffee and some mini-home made cakes. The internet connection was fine and I had no problems getting on line. Speedtest rated it as abour 5 Mbit/sec download and 300Kbit/sec upload. The bed was of good quality and the room had quite a few plugs for charging all my stuff. The bathroom was nice, clearly recently re-done. Good water pressure, Nice and clean. In the morning they prepared breakfast early just for me. Lots of food, all freshly prepared. Great food and a double coffee and I was on my way. The hosts were very nice. Be aware that they only accept cash payment.…
Right off the motorway, easy to find after a long day's drive and an oasis of tranquillity. The owners could not have been more welcoming. It is set in a large park only minutes from the centre of Asti. Our room was large as was the bathroom with an excellent shower. Breakfast was great and featured some of the patron's own cooked produce. Delicious it was too. Downstairs he has a large wine cellar with a wonderful choice of wines at frighteningly low prices.. We are back a few days now and we can attest that they are very drinkable!!! We had intended to go into Asti but we had already done along drive so we ended up eating ina pizzeria.restaurant on the left hand side of the main road into Asti ( the owner will give you directions - it was less than 2 kms.). Sadly I cannot remember the name but it was quite busy with locals. A pizza margherita was FOUR EUROS but there were millions to choose from as well as spaghetti and other pasta dishes. If you don't want to drive far this is a gfood choice. Our bill with pizza, dessert and wine was just over €30. Can't copmplain.…
