This is your must stay. Apart from the convenience to everything - train and parking - the rooms are lovely, so comfortable and perfect for your base to explore Piedmont. Your hosts are a family who have owned this hotel for over 60 years and they truly love what they do. They know the area and will help you discover it. The breakfast is fantastic also. We highly recommend this hotel. 100%.

Very well situated hotel. A short walk to all the local tourist stops. Lots to see. The staff were very helpful, free parking . If travelling by train also ideal as the station is just outside. I was surprised how very quiet it was - lovely bed. Recommend for a short stay.

I visited with my family a total of 4 people. The hotel was nice and clean. The rooms were spacious, and the staff was friendly. They also speak English, so that's a great plus. Also, the local architecture is really beautiful. Nice hotel ,really liked the stay.

Super close to train station. Lovely friendly family run business . Rooms are clean and tidy. Great breakfast with usual croissants, but also meats, cheeses, yoghurt, cereal etc. Motel is a little dated but highly recommended for the budget conscious who are train travelling.

Very nice hotel. The owner was nice and accommodating. The room was comfortable and clean. She served a wonderful breakfast with pastries, fruit, cheeses, and so much more, and the best cappuccinos ever, we were treated like royalty! Staff were friendly and helpful! Highly recommend and would stay here again!

This family run hotel made our small tour group feel so welcome. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is wonderful with great coffee and a generous snd varied selection of breakfast foods. There is an elevator and included reliable wifi. It is next to the train station but it is quiet.

Hotel Cavour is family owned and operated. Incredibly hospitable host with her mother and father helping out. Extremely comfortable bed and pillows, small but great shower. Really fast WiFi. Now for the breakfast... amazing array of the usual pastries, cakes baked by nonna (yum!), cereal, fruit and fabulous coffee with snacks to go.

I'm not going to lie. My boyfriend and I were a little sketched out when we initially arrived at the hotel. It's right by the train station, and a lot of people were hanging around. After a few hours of walking around the town, and walking back to the hotel we realized we were being crazy, paranoid tourists. The area is fine, and Asti is small and charming. Plus there's a gelato place next door. How is that not win win? The hotel is run by Nadia and her family. At least that was my understanding. They are friendly, welcoming and helpful. Nadia promptly answered an email I sent before our arrival. She also helped us design our own walking tour of the town. Though my horrible sense of direction in these Medieval towns made our planned route obsolete. The air conditioning in the room worked very well. Especially when compared to some wimpy A/C units we ran into elsewhere in Europe. The room was comfortable, and was a great value. You're only a five to ten minute walk from the center of town. The breakfast kind of the usual fair we saw in Europe -- cured meats, rolls, croissants, etc. The special treat at breakfast was a homemade cake with chocolate and bananas. Plus Nadia made us delicious cappuccinos each morning when we sat down at breakfast. I highly recommend this place if you're going to spend some time in Asti.

Wonderful Hotel in central Asti, literally across the street from the train station with private parking. Excellent breakfast buffet with home baked cake! On our summer vacation trip to Italy we planned to make a short stop in Asti that we eventually extended to two weeks due to the nice atmosphere of this Hotel. Hotel staff offered wise advice on how best to explore Piedmont region and how to benefit the best from the strategic location of Asti. Excellent service of staff.
