The location is perfect for downtown Torino. Pensione is located on a very busy street, 3rd floor with small elevator(aren't they all in Italy)? Room and bathroom were clean, well kept and close to all the sites we wanted to see. Breakfast was provide in the room. Found out directly across the street is a church with a replica of the Shroud, not known by many. Our only problem was parking. DO NOT stay here if you have a car, parking is next to impossible. If you do find a spot, you then have to find a tobacco shop to buy a ticket for the window of the car every day, be there by 8am to purchase another ticket. There are a few free parking spots, we never saw one available. We had to park on the sidewalk to load/unload our luggage. Lots of great restaurants in the area, definitely stay here if you don't have a car.…
Amazing location, right in the city center. Street is busy but my room (single) was quiet. The place is family-owned and it feels like staying at your aunt's place, but in a good way. The room was spacious and elegant but certainly had a homey feel. Abundant continental breakfast - you're in Italy,so your breakfast is Italian. You get all stuff in your room, including packaged store bought baked goods, juice, fruit, the coffee machine and milk frother! I really appreciate quality products being used. There's no access to kitchen but there's a mini fridge in the room. There is one common bathroom but it wasn't a major problem for me. Be aware that the elevator is tiny (it's a very well maintained, historical building), so if you don't feel comfortable in such spaces, be prepared to carry your luggage upstairs.…
The room was great and nicely decorated but i stayed at the streedside of Via Po. There you have a great view over this historical street and see the people passing by, but also the trams and the traffic. Over night 0:30h (july) this public traffic wil calm down and early in the morning you will be in the middle of The awakening of Torino. But with earbuds in you will sleep good :) I almost haven't heard or seen the staff at all only for payment and keys. From this location you can wolk to all of the historical locations. At the Piazza Castello you will find "The shroud of Turin inside the Chiesa id San Lorenzo, Hop-on-Bus starting point, tourist office with discount touristcard, etc And just minutes away from The Mole Antonelliana. Around the corner of the via Po there are nice resto's…
Pension Orizzinte is an excellent choice, if you enjoy your stay in Torino. It is on Via Po (famous street and central street) and close to most popular museums; Palazza Reale, Cinema Museum, Egypt Museum etc. Also you can arrive famous streets of Torino to drink and eat something special. Hostel has few rooms and a common bathroom.Everything was clean and tidy.I rented a single room that is decorated classic style. It has everything i need; espresso maschine, kettle, teas, juices, cakes, fruits, chocolates..So breakfast was in the room and for breakfast there were nutella, fried breads, jams and coffee. Also room has a nice view of Via Po and an ancient church. But there is street noise. By the way host lady was very kind.
We enjoyed our stay very very much in this atmospheric 'pensione' in the citycenter of Torino. Our host was very attentive, pampers the guests with delicious fruit and sweets every day. Abundant Italian (sweet) breakfast and even espresso coffee to be prepared by yourself at the moment you wish. There's a shared bathroom (shared bathrooms are quite common in older Italian guesthouses by the way) which was clean every moment we used it. You can hear the traffic if you open the window. Very clean guesthouse and up to date electricity, decoration and wifi! We'll be back there some day.
