We have just returned from a wonderful weeks holiday at the cristallo. We were greeted very warmly on arrival, and all the staff without exception couldn't have done more to ensure that we felt very welcome and had a great week. The food without exception was very good. We particularly loved the delicious soups and cakes at afternoon tea. There...

When we decided to come on holidays in Italy we were expecting exceptional food, of course! Unfortunately, when we arrived at the hotel Cristallo, which is run by Mark Werner, we realised that we were going to be presented awful food for a week. First of all, for dinner they are not serving Italian cousine tipical of the place and...

Attentive and friendly staff. Good value. Brekafast and afternoon tea were good. Evening meal offered a choice of 3 starters and mains. Starters and desserts were good. Main course a bit hit and miss but ate it all each night. Bedrooms very hot but okay if you leave the window open. Would be very happy to return.

We also stayed in the Cristallo W/C 13th January 2013! The service was faultless and as normal the staff chosen by Mark Warner are bubbling with enthusiasm and professionalism. Value for money, most people we spoke to had booked this holiday at the last minute and at a very reasonable price, we feel this was excellent value for the money...

The hotel was nothing like the brochure it was very basic and lots of things broken, showers, hair dryers , jacuzzi and more. The food was so bad we had go eat out making if a very expensive week. The manager George was rude and unprofessional shouting at the staff in front of the guests, the only thing that saved...

We spent a week at the Cristallo from 13-20 January. As reported in previous posts, the hotel is comfortable and clean but as we have experienced in many other MW hotels, tired and possibly in need of a re-fit. Although our room was directly situated over the bar, we had no issues with noise. All the staff work extremely hard...

Family skiing holiday over New Year. Like the last post, the Hotel is a little tired, but it's an old hotel and in a way it's faults add to its character and quaintness. The rooms are comfortable and kept clean with the odd electrical/plumbing problem. Good sized ensuite bathroom with bath and a copious supply of hot water. Located in...

Family skiing holiday in Mark Warner hotel. Really friendly and helpful staff (who also recognise and greet you in town) with smiles. Hotel clean but fixtures and fittings in the rooms are tired. Great to have a bath after skiing. Rooms get hot even when heating turned down. Nicely positioned for central pedestrian area. But overall experience let down by...

A friend and I booked a holiday with Mark Warner at the Cristallo having both skied in Courmayeur before, and my friend having stayed at the Cristallo, though neither of us having organised it with Mark Warner. Knowing we were going during the final week of the season we were prepared for limited snow and were also aware that Courmayeur...

I just came back from a week at the Mark Warner run hotel Cristallo. The hotel is tired and in need if some work. Everything you need is there and some rooms have tubs which is nice to relax in after skiing all day. Some rooms also have balconies. The rooms on the higher floors did get very hot. Even...
