Very helpful, courteous and friendly staff. The woman at the desk when I arrived helped me book a boat tour on the Brenta River to see the Venetian Villas, gave me a map of the city and recommended things to see and do as this wasn't my first time in Padova. The restaurant/pizzeria was very good. I didn't have to...

Hotel Al Santo is just down the road from Basilica San Antonio and is an easy walk to quite a few of the tourist sites. The tram stop is not far away either. Their website states that the bedrooms are modern and refined and were restored in 2007 and very modern furnishings. 2007 was only 5 years ago and the...

The location of this charming little hotel is amazing - a narrow cobbled street with the Basilica San Antonio at one end and numerous restaurants nearby. It is a cheap and easy tram ride to the town centre and the ralilway and bus station but it is also possible to walk. The Prato is only a short walk away and...

Picked up this hotel planning a trip for work to this beautiful city. The place has been nicely renewed and located only steps away from the Basilica de San Antonio. It's a great spot to spend some nights close to the center of town; where there's plenty of restaurants, shops, farmacies and Enotecas (wine bars) close by. It's a family...

We stayed at Hotel Al Santo for two nights prior to our leaving Italy. The hotel is right in the heart of the main tourist attractions, yet is off the main streets and is quiet at night. The hosts, Antonio and Valentina, are very welcoming and go out of their way to help you feel at home in their hotel....

Stayed 3 nights at Hotel Al Santo. Room was on second floor and lift was available. Room and bathroom were basic and clean. Shower stall was small but we managed (might be an issue for a large person). Typical European/Italian breakfast was adequate and good made to order cafe macchiato. Friendly staff that spoke English when they couldn't understand my...

As usual in Italy, the hotel's number of stars has little to do with the real state of affairs in it, and it is definitely overpriced, which, again, is very often the case with accommodation in Italy. We have evidently been spoiled by good price/quality ratios in other countries. 10 years ago, when I last visited Padua, this hotel was...

Very nice small hotel, recently renovated, everything inside was clean and modern – excellent AC, lift, sparkling bathroom with hairdryer and good shower, TV (no English channels), friendly staff, great croissants for breakfast (with the rest of the usual offerings). Nice size room and large bathroom. There is wireless in the rooms but no computer for guest use, there is...
