Entrance is in scarry small street. On the other hand, those streets are not unusual in Venice. The hotel is perfectly situated in the centre of Venice. The staff are very helpfull and friendly. Near the hotel there are many restaurants and bars.

The hotel is perfectly situated in the centre of Venice, it is great as a base to explore the city, the staff are very helpfull & friendly. The hotel is however difficult to find, we walked past it twice without seeing it. The ground floor on the side of the piazza is rented out to a bank & the hotel... More

We had an amazing time in this hotel. Very silent but in the middle of Castello. 10 minutes walk from marcus place in a small side walk. Near the hotel there are many restaurants and bars but they do not desturb your sleep at all!

What more is there to say. With the map that is available on their site it wasn't more difficult to find then anything else in Venice. We didn't try the food as we found other places to eat that we liked. Had a minor problem with the shower one day but it was fixed as soon as we let the... More

Incredible room with a view of the square. Wonderful staff who offered an upgrade for a very minimal price increase that provided us with a huge room with Venetian Glass wall sconces and a coffe maker in the room....vital for a coffee drinker like me! Great place and highly recommended. Enjoy, Caio!

Though Ca'Bragadin is not easy to find initially, once we did we had a great stay. Our rooms were comfortable and we enjoyed having breakfast in our room. The location made it easy to reach all parts of Venice quickly. Staff was helpful recommending restaurants and helping with reservations.

Great room with friendly staff. We were in Venice for three days in this was an excellent base from which to explore. We booked a three bed family room and had the 'flat' at the top of the hotel which suited us perfectly.

Stayed here for two nights and we had a wonderful & comfortable stay. Staff was helpful with any questions and recommendations. Location was near delicious food and near St. Mark Square and the Grand canal bridge. I was surprised what a great value this place was at such a great rate. If you're coming to Venice, stay here!

We visited Venice mid July and stayed at this hotel. It is located in a cute, quiet piazza. We were upgraded and had a great room overlooking the square. We sat at our table with a drink, threw open the windows and looked out onto the square, beautiful! The room was quite large, clean and a decent size bathroom. Staff... More

We stayed here for several nights and absolutely loved it. The location is perfect, very central and within 10 minutes you're nearly anywhere you like! Rooms are big and super clean, providing everything you need..air con, safe, minibar etc. We definitely recommend the breakfast for 13€, it's very reasonably priced and tasty with a great selection of food. We would... More

Staying in Castello

Neighbourhood Profile
Castello
Castello is the largest of the six sestieri (districts), and the only one not facing onto the Grand Canal. More than half of Castello is situated within Arsenale, the naval base, which occupies over one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime neighbourhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals criss-crossed by laundry. Semiannual exhibitions add a strong artsy current to the Arsenale area. Via Garibaldi in Castello, with its shops and bars, has one of Venice's rare straight and wide boulevards. When a large ship turns around the Lido to enter the Giudecca Canal, the startling sight creates an illusion that it will run aground right on Via Garibaldi! Families treasure Giardini near the island's tip, green with rare trees and grass, and Riva degli Schiavoni is a popular spot for Venetians to take a stroll to watch the sunset.
