A la Sensa: In the magic and relaxing atmosphere of "Campo dei Mori", a house in a sunny position facing south with view of a channel and of the old sculptures of the "Mori". There are two very lightened and windy rooms...You can see the sunrise either sunset. The zone is Cannaregio, a beating heart of a water town far from the touristic crowd...Welcome in the real Venice.

What an amazing little spot- Giacomo and his father really make this place as comfortable as possible. Ample food and amenities available and just very homely. It is so convenient because there is a lovely little bar available right outside on the water where you can have a lovely cold beer/wine and locals walking around giving you the true Italian feel. Later on the restaurant right next door opens and the food was amazing! What a great place and the hosts go above and beyond to help. Be sure to arrange your water taxi's the next day as they can get quite busy.

This is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a quiet spot on the edge of busy Venice and want to know what life is like for the locals. We had no trouble finding this cozy home which is within easy walking distance to the touristy spots as well as bars and restaurants frequented by Venetians. The bedroom was roomy and the shared downstairs bathroom clean and tidy. Our host, Giacomo, was helpful, upbeat, and eager to make sure we had a great time in his unique city. He made us feel totally welcome in his home, treating us more like friends than guests, and provided an insight to the heart of Venice itself. He introduced us to life as it is today for the Venetians as well as its glorious past. Our visit to Venice would not have been nearly as rewarding had it not been for Giacomo's enthusiasm, graciousness, and pride in his city. I would not hesitate to recommend this place.

My friend and I (two women) stayed at Giocomo's home B&B in early May. First the location is exactly perfect. In a real Venetian neighborhood on a quiet canal. Yet close to restaurants and night life one canal over. B&B Ai Mori is also an easy walk to the more touristy areas of Venice. Giacomo is an enthusiastic host, instantly making you feel as welcomed as a freind. Giacomo gifted us with a most beautiful picture of what life looks like to those who live in the city and helped us imagine a Venice that is different from what the usual tourists see. The room was clean and had plenty of space for what we needed. Our room was upstairs, the bathroom is shared and downstairs. Remember that you are in someone's authentic home- SO much better than staying in some generic hotel. Thank you again, Giacomo, for your many kindnesses and the extra special introduction to our first time in Venice.

We, two mature couples, stayed at Giacomo's B&B for 3 nights. The location was perfect as it sits on the edge of a busy area, near to a water taxi stop, allowing us to live amongst the locals with a few tourists coming by. The house was quiet and the kitchen adequately stocked, allowing us to cook and eat at home on 2 occasions (there are a couple of supermarkets on Stadt Nuovo). There are 2 large double bedrooms, a lounge/ diner and a large shower/ bathroom with plenty of hot water. There are a few bars and restaurants close to hand but the centre is only a short walk. Communication with Giacomo was easy and he and his dad were very accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed during our stay. We would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

We stayed at this B&B on our last night in Italy. It was a little hard to find, despite being only a 20 minute walk from the train station (make sure to google map the exact location beforehand as it is easy to get lost on the island - it is just off of Campo dei Mori). The B&B was clean, comfortable and quaint. We were welcomed by the host's father, who did a great job of showing us around despite not being able to speak English. The shared bathroom was clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. The view from the room was beautiful, and there were many restaurants within walking distance. I think we would stay here again!
