Very central. Only 4 or 5 minutes walk to St Marks Square. Very comfortable rooms, good breakfast with lots of choice, friendly and helpful staff. The bar is atmospheric and well run. Good value for money too.

The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and
Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.

Yes, with no problem. Just book it at the front desk and it will be taken care of. The bellboy helped us with our luggage and the boat driver helped us board and debark. Their "back door" is right on the canal.

To reach the Hotel from the airport we suggest :
// private taxi boat, departing from the airport's pier, ( about 300mt moving walkway ) that reaches our private landing directly - tide permitting – on the back of the hotel in about 30 minutes at the cost of about 130 € ( this fare is up to four people anyway you'd always better ask for fare before boarding and agree with the driver to be taken till our private water entrance not the neighborhood );
// shuttle boat service called Alilaguna blu line departing also from the pier that reaches San Marco in 1hr28mnts and at the cost of 15 € ( round trip € 27 ). Once you get off in San Marco cross the small bridge on your left and turn right walking all along Calle Vallaresso. At the cross road keep left and walk for less than 100 meters, cross another bridge and you are in a large street called Calle Larga Via XXII Marzo. In the middle of the street on your right side you will find our Hotel. Total walking distance 300 meters.
Blu line timetables: 6.15am, 7.15am, 8.15am then from 9am till 8.30pm minutes 00 - 30 every hour, then 1 per hour at 9.30pm, 10.30pm, 11.30pm, last at 00.30pm.
// shuttle boat service called Alilaguna orange line departing from the pier that reaches Giglio in 1h18mnts at the cost of 15 € per person ( round trip € 27 ). Once at Giglio please take the narrow street in front of you then turn right following the main street to San Marco. Cross the bridge keep going and you are in Calle Larga Via XXII Marzo. 50 meters on your left our Hotel entrance. Total walking distance 250 meters.
Orange line timetables: from 7.45m at minutes 15 - 45 every hour till 8.15pm. Then 1 per hour at 9pm, 10pm, 11pm, last at midnight.
// the shuttle bus service: ATVO blu bus (20 - 50 every hour) or the orange ACTV bus (every 15 minutes) departing just outside the arrivals going directly to Venice at the cost per person of 7 €. Bus reaches Piazzale Roma which is the car terminal of Venice. From there you can take either the private taxi boat (always ask for fare... generally it is 75 € for four people) or the public boat transportation line 2 till the stop called San Marco. The cost of each ticket is of 7,50 €. From San Marco walk in the direction of the Accademia's bridge as above mentioned. You can take also the line 1 until the stop "Santa Maria del Giglio". From here, please follow the directions for Saint Mark's Square, till "Calle Larga XXII Marzo", where you will find in your left our Hotel;
// our transfer service that includes a cab from the arrival until the airport's dock followed by a private water taxi from there till the Hotel water entrance on the back of the Hotel. This one way service - to be arranged at least 24 hours in advance - costs 160 € in total luggage included (up to four people) and foresees a cash payment to the concierge. In case of interest you should be so kind to provide all flight details.

I would take the private water taxi for easy access. If you are able to or willing to walk with luggage for 15 minutes, I would take the vaporetto to St. Mark.s Square and then easily follow the street going west thru the square to the hotel. There are also other stops that would be even closer to the hotel...you would need to study their schedule to determine that as I cannot recall them at this time.
