Excellent service and friendly staff. Rooms are cozy and the bathrooms are clean. The breakfast is continental and provides various choices of food and beverage. Only two minute walk from Piazza San Marco and only thirty second walk from views of the water and other...More
This is a quaint hotel that offers breakfast, their staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is within a 10 minute walking to Plazza San Marco and station from the water taxi! There's also many restaurants close to the hotel. Best location ever!!!
Fantastic location, close to everything, a stones throw from the water buses, staff were excellent too. Continental breakfast was just right to start the day, only thing I could really say was needed would be tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. I would not hesitate...More
The hotel is in historical center of Venice. It is 2 min walk from square San-Marco. The room is not large, but very comfortable. The bathroom is large and modern. The hotel is in historical building on a narrow street. View is not beautiful, but...More
This is the fourth hotel we have stayed in Italy and so far the worst (comparable prices based on the area).
The location is great, you cannot ask for better, although pretty much anywhere you stay in Venice you are close to something.

Castello is the largest of the six sestieri (districts), and the only one not facing onto the Grand Canal. More than half of Castello is situated within Arsenale, the naval base, which occupies over one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime neighbourhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals criss-crossed by laundry. Semiannual exhibitions add a
strong artsy current to the Arsenale area. Via Garibaldi in Castello, with its shops and bars, has one of Venice's rare straight and wide boulevards. When a large ship turns around the Lido to enter the Giudecca Canal, the startling sight creates an illusion that it will run aground right on Via Garibaldi! Families treasure Giardini near the island's tip, green with rare trees and grass, and Riva degli Schiavoni is a popular spot for Venetians to take a stroll to watch the sunset.

this is a Hotel with rooms only. transport direct to the airport is very easy on the waterbus which is literally one minute from the hotel. i would say its by far the easier route as the train station is the other end of the island and you would need to get a water bus there anyway.

Good morning, we regret but is not possible for us to arrange a transfer but if you wish we can help you booking a private water taxi even if the public transportation is really confortable and not far from the hotel. Just note that a private taxi is more expensive than the public boat Alilaguna.
Always at your disposal

We took the Alilaguna at a cost of €15 each, yes a ten minute walk but well signposted, flat and easy to do. Buy ticket when you enter baggage hall. We boarded within minutes of arriving and the journey took one hour thirty five minutes and we really enjoyed it. Once at San Zaccaria cross the bridge to the left, more of a ramp than a bridge, then first right, hotel on the left. Have a fabulous holiday.
