My sister and me spent two nights in this lovely hotel. Hotel Arcadia is a boutique hotel with great style and sophistication. Wonderful rooms with all the luxury details like wonderful bed linen, cosy bathrobs and slippers and very comfortable beds and mattrasses. Everything was superclean. We enjoyed the generous breakfast a lot. Wonderful choice of sweet and savory, everthing high quality. Coffee freshly brewed and served and croissants to die for. The breakfast room is located in the great hall of this wonderful ancient palazzo and just stunning. Last but not least: the people working at Arcadia are truly wonderful people. The owner himself, the guys from reception, the lady at breakfast and the lady from housekeeping - everybode without exception is genuine friendly and helpful. Thank you to all ouf you. We also liked the excellent location of the hotel, located very close to the vaporetto. Next time Venice - of course Arcadia!!!!! …
The Arcadia Hotel was warm and welcoming, in a great location historic Venice. Just a short walk from the train station over one small bridge. That is a big deal in Venice. The entire team is fabulous. Gave us excellent directions, good dining recommendations. Don't miss restaurant Levante. Best restaurant in all of our travels. The receptionist will give you directions to the restaurant. Very easy walk from the Hotel. The bathroom was spa like, with a great rain shower head. Bed comfortable with very nice linens. The Breakfast was a great start to our day. Thank you Hotel Arcadia, we will be back.
Staffs are very helpful and friendly. Close to Santa Lucia train station, but it’s easy to get to St.Mark or anywhere else for that matter. Lots of restaurants and market, water bus station is close by. I’m glad I found this hotel !
After a 5 hour train journey last night , the short walk from Santa Lucia got us to Arcadia and we could not be happier with our choice . From the moment of arrival the desk manager Daniel and all the staff have been amazing . These people could work at any 6 star hotel in the world , such is their demeanour and professionalism . Nothing is too much trouble , The rooms are typical of Europe in size - not large but this is made up for by design quality and thoughtful touches . Breakfast this morning was a buffet that offered all you would need- fruit cereal cheeses meats eggs bacon pastries juices and fresh coffee . The lady who runs the breakfast room is fantastic and nothing is too much trouble . The lemon and cherry tarts were lush !!! Whilst we leave tomorrow for Rome I feel that the standard has been set and it may be down hill from here ...…
We had a lovely welcome. Our passports were reviewed on check in and the receptionist recognised that it was my birthday and wished me a happy birthday and sent up a small bottle of wine as a gift. Our package came with exclusive use of the spa area (so just you, nobody else). This really is lovely experience as the facilities are clean and very beautiful. There is a sauna, a stream room, a cold water plunge pool and a jacuzzi that is a lie-down bath, rather than a deep jacuzzi. Plus around 3 separate showers with loungers. The only downside is that it's difficult to get into the plunge pool as the steps were too narrow to step on without causing pain to your feet and the hand rail too wide to get a secure grip. I booked the sixty minute Thai foot massage that came with a head and shoulder massage as well. Absolutely amazing. Our room was lovely. I'm guessing traditionally decorated - very charming. We had a suite so loads of room and it was perfectly clean. I'd definitely recommend this place.…
