This is a charming bed and breakfast filled with character. Our room was clean and comfortable, also nice and warm ! Breakfast is simple and served to your room, which was a pleasant experience.
It's a nice stroll down to Rialto and then San Marco,...More
My wife and I stayed 2 nights in February, and could not have asked for better! First off, the location was perfect. A quick 10 minute walk from the train.
The room was very nice, comfortable and very, very quiet. Everything we needed was supplied,...More
My teenage daughter and I stayed for 3 nights at this lovely B & B. The owners were gracious and professional and helpful. We would highly recommend using this facility--great location! Safe, quiet and close to the terminal.
This B&B was comfortable and impressive. The decor is immaculate and the owner is quite friendly. Breakfast was okay... Typical Italian colazione. The rooms are pretty big for Venice. My colleagues stuck me in the attic room, which is also nice, but a bit hazardous...More
Ca della Corte is an excellent place to stay in Venice - central with all the necessary amenities within the hotel and around it. The welcome was lovely and we will definitely be going back there when we can.

Santa Croce gained importance as a sestiere (district) when Piazzale Roma was created in the 1930s to bring cars and buses close to the center of Venice. Constitution Bridge spans the Grand Canal linking Piazzale Roma to the train station. This area buzzes with energy from travelers and students. Historic palaces and former industrial buildings house some departments of Ca' Foscari and IUAV Architecture
universities. On the Fondaco dei Turchi, Venice's Museum of Natural History offers Venetians prehistoric thrills, plus an overview of lagoon fish and wildlife. The Grand Canal, northern boundary of Santa Croce, is lined with palaces and decorated by the tall green dome of San Simeon Piccolo. Ca' Pesaro attracts Venetians to its contemporary art exhibitions. The Grand Canal exposes only one face of these buildings. On the opposite side, the palace often interacts with a square or a busy street to represent its neighbourhood identity.

I wish I could be more help. Ca' della Corte is a short walk from the Ferrovia vaporetto stop (the train station), also Piazzale Roma, where buses bring you from the airport. But just how to get there is a bit complicated. The map on the B&B site was a big help to us. My husband suggested that you go to Google Maps. We stumbled around a bit but really had no difficulty. What I can tell you is that everyone was wonderfully helpful; a nice gentleman saw us looking at our map and led us right to the door of Ca' della Corte. I think you'll love the B&B. We did. If you get the chance, please tell Caterina, Errica, Valentina and Elisabeta "ciao" from Hampton and Leslie (we stayed there in May for 6 lovely nights).
