If you want a hotel that's is a great contemporary, clean refuge with a great location, then this is it. You have to navigate through the crowds in the Piazza and through some classic, narrow walkways, but it's worth it. Ca Del Campo Hotel is...More
Friendly, helpful staff. Hotel renovated to a very high standard in Venetian style. Rooms spacious clean and comfortable. Highly recommended. When next we visit Venice the Ca' del Campo Hotel will be our first choice.
We did not have high hopes for this hotel... HOWEVER we were pleasantly surprised when showed to our room. The room was equipped with two bathrooms, which was excellent for our family of four. We didn't feel like we were getting in each others' way,...More

The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and
Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.

I agree with the answer above... HOWEVER... the last two times we were in Venice.... 2015 and 2017.....we stayed at Dona Palace and Ca Del Campo... Each time we had early flights home so we splurged and spent about 120E for a water taxi right to the airport... It was a spectacular ride in the early morning hours that we still talk about! What an unbelievable experience! You will never regret it! AND they pick you up right at the hotel! ASK them at the desk....
