My first trip to Venice was made all the better by the location of this Hotel and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The room was beautifully decorated and furnished and was of generous size. We were surprised to find tea and coffee in...More
First time in the hotel very nice but a little too far from the main attractions.
If you get a good map and some directions from the staff going in the neighborhood behind the hotel and eventually to the Academia bridge works well
Excellent compact hotel with friendly professional staff. A superb selection of Italian food is offered for the breakfast buffet. A five minute walk from the Piazza Roma where the bus and tram terminus is located. Also across the canal from the main railway station. Important...More
Great stay ahead of our cruise departure. We chose this hotel as it was close to the Cruise boat terminal and is on the Grand canal. It is also close to the Train station as well as the main car parking structure. Rooms were very...More

So we took the train from Florence into Venice. However, if you are staying at this hotel call them directly. When we went to the airport from the hotel to go home. They gave us 3 options and the prices. They were really helpful and we chose the best one for us. So I would call directly and let them know when your coming and see what they can do for you. They have a guy who picked us up and drove us to the hotel. He was sweet and helpful. It was 70 euros. But it was worth it. A boat taxi is 120 Euros which I think is a lot. Or you could do a shuttle from airport with other people and it's a little cheaper but as you know you will have to walk from the drop off bc on the main island no cars are allowed. So it was nice to have the guy get us from the hotel bc he walked our luggage all the way to his car.

We were in Venice for a day and a half and really appreciated the location of this hotel. It's a thirty minute walk from the famous square but it's close to a lot of other wonderful places to visit. Plus the best part of Venice is walking the city. The great thing about the location of this hotel is its proximity to the bus station, train station and the only parking lot on the island(s). This makes getting your luggage to your room much easier. Which is a very big deal in Venice.
