Was slightly worried after reading the reviews but I shouldn't of been. We arrived at 2pm and found that the reception was staffed. We were in a private room which was spotless, as where the toilets. We are used to staying in hostels and therefore don't need the 24 hour reception or private bathroom. If you want that you need to look at a hotel which will be considerably more expensive. The receptionist is available up until the early afternoon and the wifi works perfectly. You can't cook in the kitchen but why would you when you an grab a large pizza slice for a few euros (perfect if your on a budget) the location is great and once you get your bearings it's easy to find. But it's Venice so be prepared to get lost but embrace it. Overall very happy with the price and the accommodation. Perfect for a weekend if your on the budget and aren't expecting a hotel atmosphere. Beautiful garden too!!

Pros: Well located (despite hard to find, as anything in Venezia), you can go in and out anytime you want after you've checked in, staff was kind (even being absent most of the time) and gave us a free map. Big locker for all your bags and stuff. Water heating worked perfectly. Cons: Had to call an italian number before check-in and waiting some minutes before staff was ready, not a problem for me but be sure to bring a working phone. Bring your towels. Bottom Line: Cost effective, well localized, but don't expect too much.

My husband and I decided to book two beds here and it was the biggest mistake. They are not accommodating and rude. Be careful to read fine print because reception closes very early. I've never been anywhere that the reception closes and you show up half an hour later and not let in. We got caught in a snow storm on our way here and arrived late and were not allowed in or refunded any money because we didn't arrive at a time convenient to them. We were told to "find somewhere else". Ended up staying somewhere much more accommodating around the corner.

Dear customer, We take bookings through agencies in which is very well specified the check in and you are prompted to specify arrival time, plus the fact that we send an email directly to explain everything again. Check-in closes at 9 pm, I do not own the closure is too early. Also, remember that this is a b & b, therefore, if you require more accommodating services you need to book a hotel.

I've stayed in many hotels and hostels and this one is very badly run. First impression, according to the front door this is "B&B Venice Paradise." But I was never offered any food. 3 days before your stay they send you a badly written welcome email. They charge fees for normal things. What the hell is a bed sheet fee of 4 euros? They have all these rules around like you have to be out of the building by checkout time. Not very nice management. Wifi - It works, but it's a weak signal Kitchen - It's nice that they let you use the kitchen but there are no napkins so you'll have to use toilet paper Bathrooms - First impression is good but later I found out that there is little hot water. Basically you have a choice between cold water and very cold water. To be fair, I stayed in a winter night. Heating - The room was very cold during the winter. I was freezing at night even though the heating was on. Oh and don't bother washing your hands because there is no handsoap in the bathroom... and no hand towels either. Conclusion - This place kinda sucks. The only nice thing is the location.

Dear customer, we are sorry to read your review,it is not pleasant to read. We are used to remind customers that when you book at affordable prices, you can not expect. In the shared bathrooms may not be shared towels for each guest, but every guest should get its own towel ... Just ask the staff to hire its own towel to use during your stay in Venice Paradise. In addition, about the hot water, it seems to me that you're the only customer to complain. In any case, the staff is present to solve any problems, if there were any. About the breakfast, the agency is quite clear that you book a room without breakfast as you have access to a fully equipped kitchen to use 24 hours a day. more comfortable than this ...!

Had a great stay at Venice Paradise, really great location! I had a bit of trouble hiring a towel as reception weren't around all the time to help me out but no big deal really. Lovely outdoor area and a kitchen to cook your own food if need be. Lovely interior! Great place!
