We enjoyed our stay during our 2 day visit. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was tidy, clean and good value for the price. I can recommend this for a short stay. Very well located, close to the station and shops.

The location was pretty convenient – as soon as we got off the train, it took about 3 minutes to walk there. The downside was the space itself... luckily, there was air conditioning, but the towels were hard, not soft, and the shower was awkward in that there wasn't a convenient place to put a bar of soap (if you plan...

Perfect location, just a couple of minutes from train station and 10 mins from central Venice. Clean room with air con too which was great. Breakfast wasn't great, but better than nothing I suppose! Would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for somewhere cheap yet clean.

Crappy room, great location. Close to P.le Roma and the train station. We walked everywhere. But if they try to give you room 33 next door, demand a different one at once, it's next to the communal bathroom and you'll be woken by anyone deciding to use it at night.

Judging by the security outside the entrance I was expecting 5 star luxury. What u get is 2 star drudgery. For the amount of hotels or up market homes to rent keep your money for an ice cream. I wouldn't recommend this place or certainly come again.

I have stayed in Adua Hotel in April for one night. The location of hotel is very central and the room was equipped with the required amenities. Regardless of the small things that I missed during my stay at Adua, I was really impressed with the politeness of the staff and their customer service. I forgot to collect a suit...

This is a simple hotel. Clean room and bathroom. Comfy bed. Free wifi. All you need really as only needed a base to explore Venice. Best bit about hotel is the location which is near to vaperetto stops and train station. Easy to walk to from train or bus station.

Staying in Cannaregio

Neighbourhood Profile
Cannaregio
Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district) with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution, 2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby shops on the Lista di Spagna offer specialties like pastries and coffee that lure Venetians with a down-to-earth attitude. The Ghetto, where the Jewish population was segregated in Cannaregio, has five historic synagogues with an active Jewish community. The Fondamente Nove bustles with foot traffic to the Rialto and San Marco while vaporettos (water taxis) head to Murano and other islands. Side streets lead into quiet picturesque neighbourhoods and palaces like Ca' d'Oro rise directly out of the water.
