We needed a good price for one night for four people in Venice. We did the thing where you lug your suitcases upstairs to find that your room is in the other building, but the people were perfectly kind if a bit harried. The aircon...More

Great little hotel. Centre to everything.... two minutes from train station and five minute walk from bus station... Only 2 star - but family run. Stayed there three times now.. Just love the place.. See you later in the year...

We booked this because it's a simple flat walk from the railway station so avoids the bridges and long walks, and frankly we only wanted somewhere to sleep. We used it as a base for exploring the city on foot (the best way imho). Don't...More

This place is horrible. After dragging our bags up a super steep staircase we were then rudely told we were not in this building. We were then escorted to our room in another building which was pretty awful. I would hate to think what would...More

Less than 5 minutes walk from the train station and 15-30 mins walk to all the major attractions this is a great little base camp. The rooms are spacious, equipped with large air conditioning units-perfect after a long hot day. Located on a busy street...More

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby

I have been there this April only. I suppose the shared bathroom rooms are all in the Annexe building. I also had a shared bathroom. They were clean. Nothing much to worry. The shared bathroom rooms are quite economical. The... More
