Just spent five nights in this hotel, quiet en-suite double room (no. 111), exceptionally pleasant staff and lovely garden (with cat!). It's about 300 yards from the 'waterbus' stop and there are some lovely restaurants nearby. Will certainly stay here again if visiting Venice.

Bad value for money.Rooms basic, old bedding, uncomfortable beds.No privacy, could hear 'a mouse fart'+bathroom movements of other guests.Staff arrogant, rude. Charge in advance so you trapped on arrival.

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)

bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
