We have just returned from staying at this Hotel. The Vecellio has very nicely decorated rooms and is spotlessly clean. The staff were all very friendly. Matteo was very helpfull with restaurant reservations and always had a smile. We had a room overlooking the Lagoon and it was a lovely view in the morning watching the boats. I would recommend...

We decided to book this hotel after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor and they were very on point. We booked because we read of the convenient location. Being next to the vaporetto stop was so nice especially since we came in at midnight and didn't have to haul our luggage far in the dark. Although you're not close to the...

I booked this room last minute through Venere.com when a tropical storm meant we had to leave Florida 1 day early last summer. Others are not exaggerating when they rave about Mateo. He truly was a helpful host, and he makes the perfect cup of cappuccino. We had the room right up front, closest to the "street" and the lobby,...

We stayed in this hotel in November 2006. We really enjoyed our stay. The price was great, the room was beautiful with a nice lagoon view, the location was excellent, breakfast was yummy and the owner Matteo was very friendly. The only negative point was the shower water pressure. It wasn't strong enough. Besides this, i highly recommend this hotel....

Hotel Veceillo couldn't have been more convenient, coming in via water bus from the airport. The hotel is in a great locale for avoiding the August crowds and for taking in nice lovely sunsets over the lagoon. We loved walking around the neighborhood, very peaceful compared to other parts of Venice in August. Room we stayed in was nicely furnished...

We stayed three nights at Hotel Vecellio and liked it very much. The hotel was easy to reach from airport and rooms are very nice and clean. Matteo and the others were friendly and helpful. The vaporetto-stop in front of the hotel makes trips easy and it is advisable to buy ticket for your whole stay. During three days we...

Stayed at the vecellio in early June and although the weather was mixed we had a lovely time The location is great - direct water bus from the airport to the door and our room had views over the water. Rooms are spotless and decorated retaining the character of this old house. The area around the hotel is well worth exploring...

As everyone else has said......a great hotel. Small and friendly. we booked last minute, through a deal and were expecting it to be a bit shabby but nothing could have been further from the truth. The decor was modern and tasteful, yet you were definitely aware that you were in Venice and not just any modern little B & B....

We stayed here during Carnival. I think this a beautiful hotel. The room was excellent and spacious enough for the two of us. Breakfast was also very good. Matteo has a good sense of humor and helped us with any questions we had. The only downside was that the room was kind of hot. We were there in February and...
