This hotel was so beautiful and wonderful location. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. Great morning breakfast buffet. Anna Lisa helped us so much and gave us great information about Venice. By the time we left we felt like we had been amongst family
This is a small and really beautiful hotel, everithing you need for a really pleasant and Nice stay in Venice. Well situated just minutes walking from rail and bus station, good breakfast. Nice attention and personal. Definitly recomendaciones this hotel
This was the view from our room with a slight lean out of the window! Excellent location close to the Grand Canal and offering great value for money. Far enough away from the throng of the crowds but close enough to the many attractions including affordable restaurants. Staff could not have been more friendlier or helpful, the room was modern and very clean. Breakfast was continental, fresh and plentiful. Venice accommodation is not cheap so take a deep breath, however, have this at the top of your list to consider as it will take some beating overall.
We loved staying at this B&B and agree with another reviewer that the feel is more of a boutique hotel than a traditional B&B, except for having fewer rooms. Where to start with the compliments? The location was an easy walk from the bus station (if you travel light and can maneuver a few steps on bridges) or a quick ride by vaporetto. Camilla welcomed us, gave us maps, and sat for 30 minutes providing recommendations for nearby restaurants, marking them on the map and describing the offerings at each, and she made a few other recommendations for sights that were not on our radar. Her family owns the business, and that pride of ownership shines through! Towards the end of our 5-day stay, Camilla went on vacation, and her sister Silvia stepped in as manager. She was just was wonderful! We stayed in the Gatto room behind the reception on the first floor, and our room was spacious with high, beamed ceilings; a comfortable sofa; and an even more comfortable bed with lovely linens. The room was quiet, and the air-conditioner worked beautifully, much appreciated in the heat of summer. The armoire had lots of hangers, a safe, and nice robes. Photos of the bathroom tiles do not do it justice. Beautiful! And there were was both a heated towel rack and another towel rack inside the shower area, which made light hand laundry so convenient. Other extras: slippers, mini bar, really nice toiletries. The breakfast room is on the second floor, compact in size and somewhat limited in number of offerings but everything delicious. Cereals, yogurts, breads, breakfast cakes, meats, cheeses, warm boiled eggs, tomatoes....all really good! Coffee was served piping hot and to order, and refills were readily forthcoming. I agree with the one comment that stairs could an issue due to no lift, if anyone in the group is not ambulatory. This would be the only caution I can offer. That said, we saw one guest in a wheelchair being shown a ground floor room, and the ground floor does have a common lounge for relaxing with lots of guidebooks, coffee and tea service, and pasties. Except for breakfast, I believe it would be possible to stay on the ground floor, but I’d recommend asking directly first before booking for any specific needs. Would we stay here again? Oh, yes please!…
We loved our hotel choice in Venice! It is so charming and the location couldn’t be better— just a short walk from the hotel to the San Stai vaporetto (waterbus) station and in a quieter neighborhood away from the maddening(literally) crowds of San Marco and Rialto. The staff made great recommendations for dinner, and we felt like locals( almost). The breakfast was delicious with wonderful service from their sweet staff. Cappuccino every morning, warm boiled eggs, croissants, breads, meats, and every condiment possible. Loved it here.
